GoogleTerrible experience, not paying invoices sent to them and getting billed them 3 months after moving. Shocking reply’s been nothing but hassle from start to finish. Taking time off work to sort documents that had already been signed and sent back. Also received an email 2 months after moving saying they needed me to sign something I had already done twice then once I had printed off document and signed again I got another email to say it wasn’t needed. Also to add I drove to edinburgh to get this done faster because excuses of the post didn’t arrive.

GoogleI was about to instruct another firm when two friends strongly recommended I talk to Simpson & Marwick. From the first meeting (with Simon Donaldson, who came at short notice and was impressively fully prepared with all the background on the flat I was selling) to conclusion of missives both on my flat and the one I was buying, the service from the in-house team too (Joanna, Georgina and Suzanne) has been simply excellent. It helps that Simpson & Marwick are part of ESPC if you're buying and selling in Scotland. I have already recommended them to two friends about to embark on property transactions.

GoogleWorking with S&M was a breeze from start to finish. They respond very quickly to any emails, calls etc. They are very comfortable giving advice and handling the situation. The online booking system is amazing it made it so easy for me to manage viewings. Would work with them again for sure - we sold our flat in a week!

Continually vague and unresponsive with our solicitor eg we moved in without knowing what white goods were in the house despite multiple requests for a simple list of what would and wouldn't be in the kitchen/ utility.
