Don't look anywhere else !

I don't make an habit of leaving reviews, However this is my second for MOV8 and has been earnt by MOV8 yet again.I've recently sold my house with them, I sold my first home with them too.Selling my home with them again was a easy choice and again I was not disappointed.MOV8 kept me informed each step of the way, Daily updates, Jamie Cockburn was my property consultant, His knowledge and attention to detail is excellent. Nothing I asked was too much for him and I asked lots being a nervous home seller.Jamie managed to reassure my nerves on many occasions and answered the call personally, anytime I called . It nice calling them, knowing the person who is answering the phone and them knowing your name, not having to ask or transfer you to someone else.I did look about before listing my home with MOV8, even though I had a great experience before. we all want the highest price for our property and lowest fees.Again I was not disappointed by choosing them, Fee's were very competitive and no pressure was put on me at all to list my property with them.Thank you Jamie and MOV8, I will be recommending you to my friends and family again

It was my first apartment viewing…

It was my first apartment viewing experience. I applied on the site on Monday. The agent called me back and we agreed to meet on Wednesday at 5.30 pm. I live near this house and pass by it every day. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask for the entrance and apartment number, since this is my first experience. At the appointed time, I was standing near the house. There was no one. I was hoping the agent would call me since she had my phone number. But it did not happen. I walked around the house several times, but no one was waiting for me and met me. I was very upset, after waiting 20 minutes, I returned home.

I used MOV8 for the purchase and sale of a house

I used MOV8 for the purchase of a house, and then for the sale of a house a few months down the line. Maryanne, made the entire process stress free with her continuous updates and communication and hard work in delivering on our expectations. Maryanne is competent and leaves no concerns so you can just sit back and relax and let her handle your sale or purchase. The previous solicitor firm we used was diabolical so we were apprehensive but the level of professionalism and hard work exhibited by the staff of MOV8, particularly Maryanne who handled our business, immediately put us at ease. Would not hesitate to use MOV8 again and will definitely recommend to friends and family.

The onboarding was excellent, the sales team were atrocious, but the conveyancing staff (especially Tara-Mae) were exceptional. We did consider moving estate agents. While the property is on the market, you speak to so many different sales staff. It is a different person each time. There is no personal phone number to a dedicated person in charge of your property. Prospective buyers have also commented on how bad the process for booking viewings is. We ended up putting our phone number on the sales listing to handle viewings ourselves. Doesn't that defeat the process of an estate agent when you're doing everything yourself? We originally accepted an offer, but the buyer pulled out when they realised they had to pay second home tax. Incredibly, I had to explain how the second home tax worked to the person phoning me about the offer about how it can be reclaimed. This was at 4.45pm on a Friday, and they promised to tell the buyer about this and phone me back right away, but they didn't phone back until the Monday, by which time they had moved on. There were numerous times Mov8 made me incredibly angry with their slow responses, and if you phone them back, its a new person you speak to, and you have to explain time and time again what is happening. The sales team is summed up when we had the flat under offer, and they sent viewing requests. I called them to stop these requests and the guy said "Oh, I didn't realise your flat was under offer..". Is that what you want your estate agent saying, when they don't know what is going on? The conveyancing team is the only thing that is keeping me from writing a one star review. Given the time of year, I'd take one of these 3 stars and chuck it in the air, and let it guide you to a more professional estate agent.

Mov8Real Estate were recommended to us by our local Yopa Manager. Mr Alan Craig was appointed as our solicitor. Although time was very tight for our sale and following purchase Alan managed to bring everything from an overly complex situation to a satisfactory completion within time. Throughout these last few tense weeks Alan did his best to reassure us that all would be well. His experience and knowledge were invaluable.Praise is also due to the rest of the team, Hayley and Maeve, who also kept us informed. As well as being professional they were also friendly. Every member of staff that I spoke with on the phone and via email was helpful and friendly. MOV8 made the whole process of selling and buying our new home seamless. If you are looking for a competent solicitor to deal with the purchase and/or sale of your property then I’d highly recommend Alan Craig at Mov8 solicitors. He went above and beyond what I expected from a property solicitor having previously dealt with other property solicitors in the past. He ensured that the sale of my house went through on the day despite issues down the chain of sale. He also communicated frequently and replied to my emails promptly. The team at mov8 are also exceptional. Putting in offers on properties, excellent communication and taking calls from me late on a Friday afternoon. I don’t know how much money other solicitors cost but if you pay that little extra for a great solicitor that gets the job down and doesn’t mess you around then I’d have to say mov8 are the best. I first contacted MOV8 Real Estate last month and was pretty unsure of what steps I should be making in wanting to buy a new property. My current property was on the market already and I had seen a property I was really keen on.
