Very disappointed with this company, purchased a flat from Aberdeen branch picked up keys and they did not work contacted company and informed them of the issue, as it was late on a Friday we said we would wait till Monday, solicitors day off Monday, she failed to tell us that on the Friday, made contact Tuesday we asked that someone who had been recently to the property could possible come and try the lock before a locksmith was called out, there response was you have the keys for the property and it was my problem, in emails they had stated there had been difficulty get the lock to work will doing viewings. my advice is be very carefully when using this company as they will not hesitate to wash there hands of you, good luck to anyone using there services especial if buying property from them.

Awful experience with McEwan Fraser Legal, they are no better than many other estate agents who do very little for their fee - they just promise more and charge more. It took them a year to sell a great flat in a great location, and the fee I was presented with was much more than I expected - the final costs were not as described initially by the agent. I tried writing to express my concerns but they are not interested - they only want their money. The other thing to watch out for is that if you want to use another solicitor, not MFL, they will try to charge you the full fee as soon as your property goes under offer. This wasn't explained to me either. So if the sale falls through you will be relying on an estate agent who has already been paid to sell your property! I'm about to put my house on the market and this time I will be going with a fixed fee agent - at least I'll know where I stand and won't end up feeling that I've been conned.

I would not recommend selling with MFL. The property sold was a 2 bed flat in Lady Nairne Loan. Initially staff were helpful and polite. The quality of brochure and efficiency of the listing were ok. Once the property was sold I found their communication was poor. Chasing information from MFL became tiresome. Additional charges were added to the final bill which were unexpected. The solicitor I spoke to asking for more information on this was abrupt and unforthcoming. The service we received was overpriced and when selling again I will choose another estate agent.

Fraser &Fiona 63 whitesbridge avenue paisley..very disappointed with them. Started off well but didn't seem to be pushing for a sale. Four homes in the same area in not as good condition sold within days, but we eventually sold in four/five weeks. As far as the links to see who was interested etc, almost impossible to access for some reason and asked several times to forward a link but still couldn't get access. Expensive and don't really think they can justify their fees and would not recommend mcewan Fraser.

My partner and I have successfully sold our property with McEwan Fraser Legal and now are going through the Buying process with them. It has been a great experience in what may become a stressful situation. We have dealt with a few different people but always felt well looked after and informed every step of the way. I feel the app is a great source of information and allows you to stay on top of things easily. The service they offer may be more expensive to their competitors but I believe it was worth every penny. I know I'm not the only customer they're dealing with but it certainly felt like it - we got prompt replies either via e-mail or phone. And we sold within 2 weeks of going on the market. Would certainly recommend them!

Everyone was really helpful and made the whole selling experience very easy for me to understand. I certainly recieved a five star service from the initial interview with the Propert Surveyor Graeme up to Jadiene, Property Sales & Marketing Consultant. And last but not least all the Viewing Coordonators who all work a bit later every day which makes the whole process a lot more convenient. Every single phone call I have made to various members of staff at McEwan Fraser Legal were answered with curtesy and respect towards myself. If I was buying or selling a property in the future I would not hesitate in giving them a call as I know that the transaction would certainly be successful.

Whilst the people I dealt with were very nice I would not recommend this company. I ended up paying double what I would have paid elsewhere and achieved nowhere near the home report value. Their charges are very expensive and they charge for absolutely everything including sign board, photography, marketing fee, media package, being listed on the internet, etc. - all of this in addition to their high commission rates. Fair enough if this was justified by the end result but alas no. Very disappointed and not worth the money in my opinion. The only time they seemed to get motivated was to make sure they got paid from the sale proceeds.

The team of people dealing with my property have been effective and swift throughout the various stages of the selling process so that I have not needed to chase them up regarding tasks to be done. Super service. Yes, more expensive, but they were on it from the very first contact. No let up. And not in a pushy way. Constant communication, efficient, friendly and although a big company I felt as though they were working for me. No pressure to take any old offer, in fact I felt they wanted to get me the best price for the flat. The difference between McEwan Fraser and other estate agents is their proactivity in marketing the property. They have professional photographers, they are always looking for new ways to advertise and reassuringly, keep in regular contact, without the need for chasing up. Hayley, our link person was fabulous. She was quick to respond to requests and worked hard when the house was taking time to sell. Within a few months of changing estate agent we sold the house! I would highly recommend them and their staff!

You get what you pay for! After being for sale with a well known high street estate agent for seven months with only two viewings, MFL have done a fantastic job with a difficult property, selling after six weeks. I have to say the service right from the start has been fantastic, from Jay, though to Lewis and Haley, we have been kept well informed at every stage, something that was sorely missing from the other agent. I would like to thank MFL for all their hard work and support whilst selling my mothers house. Right from the start I found them to be responsive and efficient. Omar Sophie and Marcus have all been extremely helpful keeping me well informed at all times of how things were progressing. The only gripe I had was right at the start when the particulars were being produced. The spelling and grammar left a lot to be desired, this said it was easily corrected and in the end we had quality particulars. All in all a job well done and we actually completed a day early.
