GoogleThe experience of making an offer for two apartment through them has been ridiculously bad. After two attempts fell into nothing because of bad advice and total disorganisation I decided to change. I reckon I might have had a different experience with different people in the practice, but they have been irresponsive, uninformative and absolutely disorganized.

I am very disappointed with the level of customer service. I have waited weeks for emails to be answered. I was told almost two months ago we were almost ready to agree an exchange/completion date yet we haven’t. I am so disappointed and would not recommend this firm.

I see just a couple of names mentioned in the good reviews. Take note. All I will say is that a bad solicitor can, all on their own, ruin your chances of a successful completion. Do your research. Ask for recommendations. Choose well.

Not to be recommended. I've been a landlord in Edinburgh for over 10 years - Gilson Gray took over the management a couple of years ago but have been nothing but trouble every since. They are sadly incompetent, with no attention to detail and I would advise you stay away. If I could give a no star review then I would.

Gilson Gray dealt with the sale of my parents house. Due to their incompetence and lack of correspondence this took months. The sale went through on 2nd March we received nothing till the end of May . My advice would be don't go there you will only end up highly stressed like we didRosemarie Ashwood

Don’t go near Gilson Gray if you want customer service and professional help. They seem committed to make your house purchase/sale as stressful as possible. It is almost like they enjoy bringing sales and purchases to the point of collapse.

But for two months, I have not managed to book a viewing or make an application based on virtual tour.Horrible service not only for tenants but for landlords too.

Gilson Gray are amateur at best, chasing their tails and unbelievably unorganised. It does not surprise me that people have complained about them. Due to their incompetence, delays in moving dates occurred costing me thousand in extra charges. They just didn't care when I complained.
