This company are only interested in getting their management fees.The have zero interest in ensuring their landlords comply with current legislations.They have zero interest in the health and safety of their tenants.They don't do their due diligence on properties they take on and their customer care is non existent.The repairs and maintenance team provide a very poor service.If you value your health don't let a property from them, go to a reputable agency

If I could give zero stars I would. We rented for 4 years with DJ Alexander and we had lots of issues with the property (those in themselves I realise weren’t DJs fault). They were slow to resolve all of them, once requiring a formal complaint to get it resolved. We have since moved out and our now fighting to get the deposit back as they are trying to charge us for “cleaning” which we know wasn’t necessary as we scrubbed the flat to a higher standard than it was when we moved in before we left!! I suspect they are charging for repainting since they did none of this while we were tenants and the flat needed a good facelift. Somehow still managed to have it “ready to move in” the day after our tenancy finished though which makes me believe even more that they did nothing. My advice: look elsewhere. If you MUST use this company then take heed and good luck to you.Update: I sent an email to the person who replied below, yesterday 31/10/22. No reply yet.Update again 01/11/22: Had a reply from someone called a “customer service advisor” stating they agree with everything said. Beginning to regret even cleaning the property in the first place before we left it since we aren’t getting the full deposit back. This is the first property we haven’t had full deposit back on. The only saving grace is we never have to deal with this company again.

I moved out of the flat 4 months ago and DJ Alexander refuses to release me from the lease. I have given my notice far more than the contract says. They don’t want to help at all. I have called them several times but still nothing. It is a joined tenancy and they don't want to even speak to the other party in order to release me from the contract You are the worst office ever. Please think twice before you collaborate with them.

This is the worst company I have ever come across. They are so unprofessional and always too busy. We got a viewing, which takes a shocking amount of time, if at all because they use an unreliable automated service. When you call them they tell you that if you haven't received an email they can't do anything about it, we asked for the application form and were told we were the best candidates to put forward. Today I note the property is now let, despite having no email or even an acknowledgement of our application, which was sent a matter of hours after the viewing. They don't care about their clients or prospective tenants and take no accountability for their shortcomings.Just an email to say we hadn't been successful would have been courtesy.

Avoid this company at all costs. Their communication is abysmal (never respond to emails, don’t seem to take messages when you phone them, webforms disappear into the ether) and they don’t care about customers at all. Have been trying to get a response about my property that they ‘manage’ since June 2022; my tenants don’t have reliable electricity (surely a compliance issue?!?) and DJAlexander are happy to take money from me while ignoring attempts to fix and communicate about the issue.

I had a portfolio with messers Fineholm prior to its acquisition by the Lomond Group and there has been major ongoing operating issues due to the Transition for a number of weeks but these have now been resolved due to the hard work of my assigned Property Manager Stephanie who went above and beyond to sort things out with the assistance of Ashley her line Manager and Angie in the Edinburgh Office, I urge anyone finding themselves in the same position to persevere as the staff have encountered numerous challenges integrating a smooth operating business model and due to their hard work is now coming together and is now handling my portfolio to my complete satisfaction

GoogleShould be a ZERO star option. Been waiting for viewing for 30mins, no one showed up. It turns out the property has been taken off. What is the point to send viewing confirmation messages and emails.
