Outstanding Service- Property Maintenance

My balcony door got damaged by strong winds a few weeks back. I called Dandara and they were very swift in organising repairs through the property management company. I was particularly pleased that they kept me posted on developments until my door was fixed. Special mention to Terri and team for a fantastic job.

During my recent review of Dandara Lettings Jersey, I was particularly remiss in failing to mention and sing the praises of Samantha Patocka, Rentals Property Inspector, who has provided me and my tenants with excellent, essential. professional service for many years. She provides regular inspections of the properties, organises essential statutory electrical testing and certification, attends to all maintenance problems and organises annual maintenance for the windows, doors, fan filters and hot water cylinder. Both landlords and tenants are blessed to enjoy the dedicated and professional services that Samantha provides year in year out. Thank you.

Half completed jobs and broken promises

In terms of the house build we are satisfied just.. .. However the surrounding areas of the estate have been left and uncompleted at the Buntingford keepers chase Estate. We have a park that is unsafe for children to use. When I mean park I actually mean a pile of mud that they have plunked a slide on top of.Other areas that have just not been completed around the estate not to mention the front of the estate where they have grassed half the entrance and left the rest as weeds. Many things were promised such as noise barriers which was part of the planning application but yet they have somehow managed to wangle their way out of that too.Whenever you try to call customer service it's oh I will look into that and nothing never gets done. Quite frankly regretting the decision to move into a dandara property if my children can't even play safely outside the front of their house.

Take it with a pinch of salt

I absolutely loved working for Dandara & pay was good. I was a welfare officer on site maintaining toilets, kitchen, canteen, dry room etc......only down fall was site manager was full of promises stating I'd have a Job here for the next 8 years as building over 500 houses. Worked a week in hand to find out via text message it was my last day on site. I was absolutely devastated, I'm a loan parent & wasn't even given a weeks notice. I feel Dandara don't support with Mental health either even though they advertised this on they're site. I feel very let down. I even supplied heating for workmen as this wasn't supplied by Dandara. Workmen were very cold when they were on they're breaks. I'm utterly devastated as I met great people.

The Sweetings development has finally become our new home after a frustrating and complicated sale with our previous house, taking over a year to resolve! We have reserved a home on the Dandara Grange development in Aberdeen. We first met with Susan Gordon who spent a lot of valuable time with us to help understand what houses were available in our preferred site location and go through the detail of finishes that are available and what incentives Dandara were offering. She is friendly and professional and has shown great patience in answering our many questions and helped so much in making the choice of our future home. Susan has kept in touch throughout the whole process and encouraged us to visit the show home regularly to ensure we are happy with our choices and updated with the status of the build.

Dandara, Saxon Park, Biddenham

Having looked at several other new-builds in the area, in early 2023 we viewed and were very impressed by the show homes at Saxon Park, Biddenham. Jo and Kelly couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful and all the staff within the Sales Office are a credit to Dandara. Having made the decision to buy a home on this development, we received regular updates from Jo and Kelly, which included photographs of the build as it progressed (I would also add that the Solicitors who Dandara recommended handled both our sale and purchase very efficiently).We completed our purchase in August. The finish of our new home was little short of perfect in every respect and the site staff who we were introduced to were completely professional and very accommodating. A couple of minor snags that were eventually apparent were dealt with promptly and we have been impressed by the courteous efficiency of all the site staff and contractors who we’ve come into contact with.We have no hesitation recommending Dandara’s Saxon Park development to anyone seeking a home in this area. We continue to see Jo and Kelly from time to time and they’re always keen to ensure that we are continuing to enjoy life here.

Saxon Park Biddenham

I am currently in the process of buying a property at Saxon Park Biddenham. I have been very impressed with the service that I have received from all the staff at the site. They are always available to answer my questions and to offer me advice. I have viewed a few houses on the site and the staff have allowed me the opportunity to pick the house that is right for me. They are all very patient and accommodating and obviously care about their customers and making sure that they are well looked after. I would definitely recommend this site to my friends and family. I am looking forward to moving into my new home soon.

Lucky I didn't give a 1 star

Lucky I didn't give a 1 star. We recently purchased a new build property from Dandara and as always they are very polite and welcoming. We reserved a property and we were all good. The issue started as soon as we got the keys. We were rushed in before Christmas and boy oh boy was it rushed. We walked into the house and it looked like it has been robbed. Doors didn't shut, draft coming through the french didn't shut/lock properly, hadn't been cleaned, damage to bits and bobs it looked like it still needed another few weeks of work. The reason for giving 2 stars and not 1 is because the site manager is really understanding and hasn't really fought back on issues that we have raised. He's a god send to be honest with the things you hear from other developments where they just blame you and say they won't fix stuff as it's your own fault etc. we got a professional snagger in and they found 130 snags. Yes some of them were minor paint etc but there were a few big issues that at the moment are in talks etc. The big issue at the moment are the exterior of the house but I won't go into detail and as we have only started living here for about a week our drive way is between 2 houses and the road that the drive way leads onto is narrower than a main single street road. This means to reverse in or out of the drive you need to do a 5 point shunt in order not to hit either house and mount the kerb opposite in order just to get in and out. We only have a smallish hatch back anything bigger would be a nightmare. I drive vans and flat beds for work and even I have the odd issue. I have mentioned this to Dandara but as it's been built and coming to end of development basically said it's not their problem. Even the ground workers that are still in the area have said it's tight and needs and extra 2 plus metres width on the road. This whole process has been ridiculous and we shouldn't of encountered this many problems. As Dandara aren't a builder they just get I think contactors in that are a bit slap dash and even fixing problems either makes it worse or doesn't even fix the issue. Would not recommend.
