We rent a flat from Cullen, and recently received an inspection from one of their new property managers Matthew. He was very friendly and kind, and we felt assured that we were in capable hands. As students we like to know who we are speaking to on the other end of an email so it was incredibly helpful to meet him in person and we are happy he is our new property manager!

Don’t ever use this company. We rented in June from this company, rented for a month and left as our neighbour was a nightmare texting us multiple times a day and showing up at our door about our very small children making noise during daytime hours. Our daughter wasn’t yet in nursery as we had only just arrived. We asked about council tax- they said don’t worry about it, we had only rented for a month- that was great because we had only been in the country a week or two before getting our rental and hadn’t set it up yet. Paying council tax would have been no problem had we known- we aren’t just evading taxes 🙄. We just got a court summons and a £400-500 bill WITH INTEREST because we never paid our council tax THAT WE HAD NO IDEA WE OWED. It also states we were there from April - august. So. Hilarious. They clearly knew about this as the bill would have been sent to them/the landlord. Not only did they decide to give us false information about council tax but they continued to not even bother to tell us when the bill came in 6 months prior- they have our direct numbers and our emails. No reputable business would behave in such a repulsive way towards former tenants. We are here on visas with the intent to relocate permanently and get citizenship. ANY ISSUE with the law or the court system will be flagged and placed on our permanent file and could ruin our ability to gain citizenship which is something we’ve been working towards for 5+ years. Absolutely disgusting.

One of the best letting agencies in Edinburgh. We moved in from overseas for our education, and the process of renting an apartment & moving in was made so seamless by Cullen Property. Eventhough, we were based abroad and had to rent a flat in the future they were very supportive & helped us out thoroughly. Post moving in, any issues and queries were attended to instantly and the service provided was excellent. The property manager and the contracts manager have been extremely kind to us, and have truly done a wonderful job in the whole renting & tenancy process. As we now move away from the house, we will definitely miss Cullen property & the wonderful services they provided. I would recommend them to anyone who is searching for a house in Edinburgh, I’m sure you’re in the best hands of you rent with them 😊

My friends and I recently moved in to a new property managed by Cullen Property and were very impressed with the service! The contracts manager was extremely helpful and replied very quickly to any questions we had about moving in or the application procedure. We also met with the property manager, who offered to meet with us to go over the property details and take note of any inventory queries with us. The online forms and admin procedures were all handled quickly and everything was really easy to process. This is the best service I have had from a lettings agent and would recommend to anyone.

I can't speak highly enough of the team at Cullen Property. We moved to Edinburgh from Ireland and were anticipating additional stress because of this, but from the first contact we had with Ashleigh and Ben they have been so helpful. We were able to view the property remotely, which saved us a lot of time and money, and each stage of the application process felt extremely professional and well-organised. They are also very quick to respond to emails and deal with issues, which has been a real breath of fresh air compared with other agents we've dealt with. As a tenant (especially these days, with high demand for rental properties) it can sometimes feel like you have no agency, but we really feel like valued clients with this company.
