GoogleHad to resort to this storage when COVID started. What's worse, I had to do it over the phone since I already bolted. Still, everything was manageable. All papers to sign had to be sent, printed, scanned, and sent back, just took a lot of time from a friend who delivered my things to storage. From there, everything became pretty much automated. Essentially, you register a room, register your details (including bank details), deliver your things, sign papers, then the standing order for each month pays automatically. Only things you shouldn't lose is the room #, padlock key, and pin code. Only way this storage can go wrong is you being irresponsible with your details, because it's otherwise reliable, manageable, and simple. All my things were as I left them, nothing went missing, and I got to keep the padlock. HIGHLY recommended.

GoogleI had a lovely and easy experience at Big Yellow Self Storage in Edinburgh. The staff were very friendly, in particular Gill. Gill was extremely helpful and made the whole experience stress free. I would highly recommend this service!

GoogleI thought that the whole process might have been riddled with hitches and inconveniences. Far from it! No problems whatsoever. The whole experience was seemless and the professional, friendly manner of the staff (especially Jill and Grace) was excellent.

GoogleIts okay, however the entire process of obtaining the storage unit is quite a long process, and although a lot can be done on line, your still a long time to get the unit, 40 signatures later, I then had to wait for the manager to approve my padlock, really?? They are always trying to sell you their products, the insurance is ridiculously expensive, works out over £200 a year but if you go on line you can get the same cover for £15 for the year. The boxes they sell are also way over priced so your better ordering from EBAY. And pricing structure on the units is based on demand, so if you can hold off you can get it for half the cost, worth haggling.

GoogleBeen used them for more than 2 years and all is perfect: simple, handy and managed by an efficient team. Tracey and Gill are very helpful throughout whole checkin/out process. P.s: the company should pay for Gill’s manicure - same eye catching bright yellow.

GoogleJill and the staff here are fantastic! At every step, they kept what was most in my interest at the top of every conversation. When my mover's delivery was delayed several times, they were glad to move my move-in date to a later date so I wouldn't pay for an empty storage room. Highly recommended!

Although the check in function online had a little glitch that did not allow me to complete the check in,Nathan at the storage facility was very accomodating and performed this in person instead. Nathan explained all the procedures in detail and clearly which made the process of moving one that little bit easier!
