Checked in yesterday after a mammoth drive. Gill was lovely and too the time to explain everything to me. Made sure that my contents were properly protected. Grace even made me a cuppa . My removal company had been held up in traffic so I had to pay for extended hours access. Again this was explained fully and was really easy to do . I've never needed to use storage before but after this experience, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to others.

We live in Texas. My son was about to attend graduate school in Stirling, Scotland. We were bringing two large suitcases with his clothing and supplies for school but also had a suitcase for travel for a week before heading to Stirling. We did not want to lug those two suitcases all over the UK. We checked a bunch of storage options and Big Yellow was by far the most reasonable and had the best facility. We made a reservation, landed in Edinburgh, took a taxi to Big Yellow, checked in very very quickly and efficiently and were on our way. When we got back to Edinburgh a week later we took a bus and walked a short way, retrieved the suitcases (again, super fast and efficient), walked to the tram, and then on the train to Stirling. We got the refund as promised, again fast and efficient. You made what had the potential to be a very stressful situation a total breeze. Thank you!!! You delivered everything just as you promised.

Needed somewhere to store contents of my house for 2 weeks between moves and Big Yellow made it as stress free as possible. Booking was straight forward and when we got there the staff couldn't have been more helpful. You can access your locker 24 hours a day as long as let them know so they can go through procedures with you. Just remember your own padlock so you don't have to buy one there as theirs are quite expensive.

Never having used storage before , Tracey helped make the process easy, explained everything fully and clearly in a friendly and professional manner and guided me through the moving in process. Nothing seemed to be a bother and any queries about having to upsize to a larger storage room at a later date were answered fully. Liked the cleanliness and order of the storage area , which looked as though it was well maintained. Even after only 2 visits to Big Yellow at Bankhead, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it . It's 4 stars for now, but only because I've yet to really use the facility.

They may not be the cheapest. I personally used it for 2 months during my relocation. I don’t store much stuff and service counter helped to find the cheapest option for my needs, which is a big locker. The overall from facility to process is very designed. They would refund if any overpaid direct debit due to payment cycle and your actual rental end date requested. Good.

Very nice storage place, well maintained, no risk of environmental damage to you're property. Additionally, the company is green, having solar panels installed. Used them twice for at least 2.5 years total. The only reason for the loss of 1 star is due to the prices. Very affordable for the first 12 weeks(1/2 price offer), then it goes up to full price.
