As first time buyers, my partner and I were completely clueless when making the huge decision to buy a house. We booked a viewing through Fox and Sons, who recommended a meeting with their in house mortgage advisor, Danielle. We are so glad we took them up on this offer, Danielle is a fountain of knowledge, who puts otherwise complex and confusing information across in terms that are easy to understand. Having spoken to a couple of other advisors who would only deal with us via text or telephone call, it was a breath of fresh air to be introduced to someone who could meet us in person. Danielle has put us at ease every step of the way - no question is too silly. She’s done all the leg work and helped with everything, finding the right deals for us, and all the additional things you don’t think about. We would highly recommend her and feel so lucky to have found her. A proactive and helpful lady who has the ability to make you feel as though you’ve been friends for years! Danielle has changed this process from being daunting and scary to being fun and exciting, we can’t thank her enough!

Harassing me with phone calls when iv asked them to stop more than once

I asked fox and sons to come a do a valuation of my late father’s property. I have then been phoned 20times since asking if they can put the property on the market for me. I asked them politely to not phone me any more as it’s on the market with a different estate agent and to take my details of the system. They said they would I have since then received 5 other phone calls from them and each time been told they will take my of the the system. I have had three calls since and each time I have asked not to be phoned and they keep phoning me. It’s getting to the point of harassment now. I would stay clear. They clearly don’t listen to peoples wishes and feel it’s ok to continue to phone someone when they have been asked not to. If only they put the same amount of effort into selling a property ( they had my old house on the market two years and had about three people for viewings.

Can't thank Danielle enough! My partner and I were first time buyers and didn't know where to start when it came to the process of buying our first home. We were very nervous! Danielle was patient, friendly and went above and beyond to help us buy our dream first home! She held our hand through the entire process, she answered our queries, worries and questions and nothing was too big of an ask. She communicated with us throughout the entire process and worked alongside the estate agent we were buying off of and our solicitor to ensure the process ran swiftly. Continuously hassled even after asking multiple times not to be

The estate agent that came to value my property needed more customer experience. He asked very intrusive questions, was rude about other estate agents valuations, was very pushy and I felt I had to be firm when I said I am only wanting a second opinion, not for them to market my property. I asked not to be contacted by them and I would be in touch if I needed their services. In the weeks following, the decision was made for me not to use them as I was contacted via telephone at least twice a week, pushing me to put it on the market with them when all I’d asked for is a valuation. When I asked multiple times to be taken off their contact list, the message clearly didn’t get through as I was contacted a further three times after this. No voicemails were left - just missed calls from an unknown number.

⁷I would give 0 if I could. Terrible experience with fox&sons London Road Brighton. We had our house advertised with them for bearly 6 months. We had 3 viewings & 10 cancellations, however, when you looked, they claimed we had 13 viewing. Our biggest mistake was to go with them. Totally unprofessional photos. We changed the agent and within a week we had 4 viewing & one offer!! Additionally, when we left this agent, they carried on advertising our house without our permission with a new price!! Dispute both written & verbal communications! Totally unprofessional. We should have read the reviews and avoided them at all cost!! So far we have had 2 offers and might have the final offer soon.

I have worked with Fox and Sons in a few different capacities over the years. Mortgage department, I can leave that (nice staff but rates were not great) Buying, Very helpful with offers, flexible with viewings and some viewings have been the same day. I have worked with Curtis and Josh. Lettings, they found a suitable tenant quickly when the property was vacant and I know they have been flexible with viewings. I have worked with both Oskar and Alfie. Note - The score would be higher if the mortgage rates were better ;)

Today a young man called Luke Hallewell came to our flat to give us a valuation. From the moment he stepped over the threshold, we warmed to him. What an absolute gentleman he is. He must have a degree in manners as his are impeccable. He is polite, respectful and courteous. 10/10 to him!! Awful mortgage advising service

Booked an appointment with one of their mortgage advisers, a lot of info i did not need to know that the company has x branches and have done x money on mortgages, just to be cancel on the second appointment. Got back to me after 4months saying he would help me that time, after a couple exchanges no more correspondence ive no idea whats going on. Meanwhile was contacted by another mortgage adviser she said to give her a change she’s different from her colleague. First appointment same things, second appointment a no show. Whats wrong with you people? Unbelievable. At least have the decency to cancel the appointment, i got out of work for the appointment waited 1h, even emailed and nothing.
