Not even worthwhile a quarter of a star. Please avoid. Contrary to their claims, Aston fox are the most unprofessional, inefficient and untrustworthy agency that there ever has been till date. Mathew Sayer. The main villain in this agency, is literally a joke of a manager, completely self absorbed and unprofessional. If there was an award for the most abhorrent agency, Aston fox would be in the lead. If there was an award for the most disgusting, vile, manipulative "manager", it would go to Mr Mathew Sayer. There is a reason that this agency has such negative reviews. I rest my case. Thank You.

Aston Fox estate agents are the reason estate agents have a bad name, Matthew Sayer is a liar, the company are cheats and without any integrity. Do not trust anything they say, they will steal your money as they have mine over 3 months ago. They have now told me to take them to court if I want payment... Avoid at all costs, the words "crooks, theives, low life and scum" are descriptions too good for this company. I notice there are a few good reviews, this is a surprise, I have no doubt they are fake, try to call up and speak to the boss Phil chandler, he will never come to the phone because he has so many people after him for money...

Estate agents generally tend to have a negative reputation, so naturally I was slightly apprehensive in putting my flat up for sale. Aston Fox definitely proved me wrong and are an exemplar on how an estate agent should behave and operate both in terms of professionalism and efficiency. In particular their customer service from start to finish should be highly commended. Matthew was friendly and professional when it came to doing the initial valuation and taking photos. He even personally helped the other half move bits and pieces around the flat to get the best possible picture. Adrian and Bill were both very effective in managing and running the open day where prospective buyers came and viewed the property. Corrine effectively kept us informed and updated on sale progression, maintaining key contact with the buyer's agent and solicitors and our own solicitor. It was very reassuring to have her at the end of the other line to keep us updated particularly towards exchange and completion. In summary Aston Fox run a smooth effective operation and were a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend them highly to anyone wanting to sell their property and would certainly use them again!

Outstanding service from start to finish

I initially got Aston Fox around for a valuation with no real intention to see, Matthew Sayer attended my property and to be honest I was so impressed with his knowledge and experience let alone the price that they valued my house for that I went ahead there and then, it was the best decision I could have made, they carried out an openeday which was a great way to sell my property, the offers cam in exactly as they said they would and it was sold sale by tender. Which was great and I didn’t have to pay a fee which was the iceing on the cake. Chris, Adrian and bill where all excellent on the open day and all very knowledgable about the area. The after sale service has been excellent and they even chained up and down the chain to make sure everything was in order throughout the whole process. I have bought an sold a few houses now, but until I met Aston Fox didn’t really have any confidence in estate agents, these guys are superb from start to finish and I cannot recommend them highly enough. If your selling call these guys, you won’t be disappointed!

Avoid at all cost. We were selling our property since last June,first buyer,they claimed to check,just disappeared,second one,their stuff has given information out to 3rd party and due to this breach of contract,we lost the second buyer. Second open house,house is "sold" again,we were waiting for visa to move abroad,agency was well aware from day one. We had a "buyer" that was willing to wait(so we've been told by Aston fox) in January we gave them moving dates,according to Aston fox,it was all good,we set an exchange day,been told,the buyer is still keen and happy with the date. The date has passed,no communication from buyer and pulled out 2weeks after date,as they didn't get the mortgage ?! Aston fox has claimed,they've checked this one too. Now we were forced to sell our property after moving abroad and pay mortgage. We had an other "buyer" all checked,we've been told,had survey,all good,we've been told,that "buyer" is happy and keeping the original offer. Finally,1,5months later,we have a completion date,2day before,"buyer" wants loads of money off,due to the report,she was happy with 1,5months earlier. Matthew wanted to bully us into negotiation,as we weren't willing to,he's got nasty and aggressive. As we were prepared to pull out,he's changed he's tone.he's arranged a test on our house,behind our backs,which would've been ok,due to the time difference,but calling our uncle,who's got the keys and lie to him,that we know about it,isn't ok.as we made it clear,that we only go ahead with the test,if the "buyer" pays as agreed,he promised a call back for almost 2weeks now,test been done,property is fine,and now the agency and the solicitors lost all decency,to even make a call to let us know what's happening. We have lost loads of money and time over these unprofessional,rude greedy crooks. If you don't want to have all aggravation and no sell,choose carefully. Now we have to start with another agency and pay more for and empty property. I wish we've listened to our gut instinct after the first cock up. Matthew,Zoe and their "best solicitor" are just bunch of liars.

Bought my first home through Aston Fox. Used their recommended mortgage broker, who was extremely good, and found me an awesome mortgage deal. Took help from their solicitor firm too, who did a good job and got everything done quickly. However, I would have felt a little bit more reassured if the solicitor spent some time to explain all the complicated search reports to me, rather than just posting them to my home address. Corinne Poulton was my point of contact and her communication was prompt. Big thumbs up to her. I mostly dealt with Adrian Ma, who is a gem of a staff. He knows how to handle difficult buyers like me, and managed the whole process effectively. Very pleased to work with Adrian.

From the realistic valuation in June to the completion in September I have nothing but praise for all the members of the team who were involved. Had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with matthew sayer in potentially buying a property. From the outset it felt he didnt want to sell me. Even I was offering more than the other buyer, still didnt want to sell to me, even the seller wanted to sell to me. He had promised to call me and had put it his diary.... 4 weeks later still no call. Think he had his buyer set and some deal between the two were made. No transperancy and honesty unfortunately fits typical tainted image of estate agents. Would not be surprised if some of the positive reviews are fake reviews made up by employees. Would avoid this company if you are looking for honest and trustworthiness. If you like being lied to and than they are for you.

Absolutely disgusting service by Mathew, very dishonest and full of fake professionalism. Agreed to sell me a house and later changed his mind and sold it to some one else. Even after issuing out the letter of acceptance. As it stands I am filing a small court court case against the firm for loss of monies plus filing a complaint against Mathew for his unprofessional misconduct and disgusting service. Also taking this to the social media platforms where I have over 2 millions followers. And let’s not forget adding the light to his name on the LBC radio Chanel plus Twitter.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS ESTATE AGENT !!! I was looking to sell my house, at first they seem alright. But they didn’t meet any of my expectations. I had to call them all the time to get an update on the progress of the sell with little or no response from them. After two months of not able to find any buyer (which could happen in some cases) we decided to terminate the contract and contact a different estate agent, but they ( especially their manager Mathew) decided to lie to us. They told us they have found a buyer for us and we agreed on a sell, little do we know there is no buyer at all. They just wanted few more extra months to find us a buyer by lying to us. After 4 harsh weeks of agreeing on a sale, they told us the buyer is DEAD (as they failed to find any Potentail buyer). Yes you heard it right, the buyer died (they are not providing any reason or details of how it happed and who was the buyer ) It was all a scam! Also never use their own lawyers to sell your property. During the four weeks of agreeing on a sell, after dozens of efforts and calls, we have only managed to talk to our lawyer( eston fox’s lawyer) once. They never reply to your calls or voicemails. So from my personal experience never ever use their services if you don’t want to end up where I am right now.

Incredibly untrustworthy Estate Agent. I called to book in a viewing on a property and was asked to provide detailed information about cash deposits and broker/bank providers. None of which is legally required to view a property. Upon questioning I was told 'it was company policy'. Why on Earth would I share the intimate details of my mortgage when I don't even know if I am interested in this property. Just another Estate Agent racket trying to get as much money as they can. Good luck to all those attempting to sell with these guys they are cutting off real potential buyers.

PLEASE AVOID THEM AT ANY COST!!!!!!! No one is professional, everything they told you is just a lie or a trap. Had so much pain to let them manage the property (missing rent payments and none of the rent is paid in time, usually 3-5 month delay) and then sell the property. Matthew Sayer is just a liar...stay away from them by all means.............

Customer service was very high. Adrian, Chris and Corinne were all very friendly and professional and kept things progressing. Coming close to completion I relied more on Adrian/Chris than my conveyancer to get things moving. Adrian also followed up after completion on the day with additional keys and documentation from the seller which was greatly appreciated.
