Hi Lynsey, Tom & family. Apologies for my overdue reply. Lost Dad, Lynsey and then you could say I lost myself for a while. Now returning to tasks and getting on with work. It just brings things into perspective, that the best things in life are for free. Thanks for your kind words about me. You know they made me smile when I initially read them and still have again- just now :) You know, it was a pleasure that I could assist with your purchase. (It’s a lovely house). However, the challenge of selling your home, when the previous agent failed twice and for more money too was particularly pleasing. It’s so true that selling/ buying, chains, especially when you’re a busy mum, is as you say, ‘never completely stress-free’. The irony of course is, some agents have stress-free sales written on their material to tout business, which does make me smh! (So I’m so glad you wrote that- cos its harsh reality, which I hope our readers will note) I have to say all the people in the chain were lovely. Carol’s become a friend and always texts me to see how I’m doing and Monika, well I see her bike riding down Sandford Road, as I’m on my way to the gym. Lovely seeing you the other day and the kids in the Central Park. Bless ‘em, they’re so cute and growing up fast! 🥰. I hope they’ve settled well and enjoying their new home. Hi Liam. I intended to reply to my super- special reviews, by sitting down and given them my full- focus. Sadly the last year became a blur with my dad being unwell and then passing, which affected my own health. I’m just getting through such outstanding tasks now. I hope you settled in well. I drive past your house regularly, in what’s one of my favourite streets in the Central Park area. I love this review for many reasons, obviously not just due to the reference to Everton lol! For me, amongst the kind words it’s the ‘reduction of fee’ note, which has to be highlighted. I worked and helped manage a well renowned, local, corporate estate agent who would push for maximum profit and wouldn’t never ever do this for their buyers! In fact, I would have been heavily reprimanded for even suggesting it. What sets a small business, an independent firm, like us, apart from these guys, is that I can work the way I want. I made a reduction of £2k to help it all along. In the end, you get the house that you really want and I’ve also helped the elderly homeowners with their costs for their onward purchase. It benefits everyone and I get a lovely testimonial, hopefully being read by hundreds to create further future business. For me, helping others has to be the first mindset and then the rest of the business stems from there. Hence it made me so happy to read this! Thanks again and hopefully catch up soon. Hi Denisa Just a quick response to your review, to show you the importance of how we value your feedback. As the Business Owner, who is proud of our accomplishments and takes our professionalism very seriously. I will get a full statement from Rafiq who was working on Saturday. I’d be annoyed if had to wait 30 mins for a viewing. Rafiq was managing the diary and was at the viewing on the day. With regards to the lateness For the moment there is a call log at 1235pm from our office number which is 02084720011 to your mobile which was not answered. Rafiq intended to explain that the 2.30pm pre arranged appointment will be running late than scheduled. I can only put this down to human error. He could have tried to reach you again, however he was the only person doing appointments on Saturday, he is running from one property to another so was unable to do so. Nevertheless, we always try to be on time and apologise for any inconvenience caused. We pride ourselves on delivering 5 a star service and certainly do not run a one star operation here. As for the photos. Well I think it’s fair to say, that’s a criticism that all estate agents pictures tend to get, as do general marketing companies with their photos. Photos are for illustration purposes only and an invitation for your viewing. With regards to the 4 viewers, at the same time. Ideally personal viewings are always better, I completely appreciate that. People had scheduled timings and partly due to the delay, other viewers were outside the property. However Rafiq has reported that he asked you before-hand if you wish to join one family inside or prefer to wait and see the property on your own. With regards to the condition of the property. We have to take client instructions/ demands which at times constrain our personal decision making. My lettings team have emailed me this morning reporting a tenant has offered over the asking price, despite the property being enhanced, with view to let. However I agree, a courtesy call to explain the context of the condition of the property would have been helpful to you here. I have raised this concern with the office manager, to report to me. Hamad of helping tenancies has just informed me that all viewers were informed in advance, that works are being carried out. In general, as much I would love my team to deliver a perfect service, I have to accept that’s not going to be always possible. My apologies to you and your family for any inconvenience caused however with the best of intentions we like to get things right. I’ll get your number from my office to give you a personal call today too. We’re a small business who have thrived on client recommendations over the years. He truly is different from the normal make up that people associate with modern estate agency. He cares so much about his clients and only will do whats right for them.
