I came across a property on Rightmove and, as I was already in the area, decided to call ARQ Homes to see if a viewing was possible at very short notice. I explained that I was heading out for the rest of the day and wouldn’t be able to attend the scheduled 4:30pm viewing, so I was really hoping for a viewing straight away. I spoke with Immy, who was friendly, calm, and extremely professional from the outset. Despite already having a viewing booked later that day at the same property, Immy went out of his way to arrange a last-minute 11am viewing for us. He never made us feel rushed or like we were causing inconvenience. Instead, he encouraged us to take our time, properly view the property, and ask questions, making the experience feel relaxed and well-managed. What stood out most was Immy’s dedication to providing excellent service, even though he had other viewings scheduled in Dagenham afterwards. Having dealt with other estate agents whilst looking, it can often feel like a game of cat and mouse, but Abdul at ARQ has been the opposite. Communication has been extremely clear and prompt throughout, with him always checking in with both sides of the transaction to see how he can help to keep things on track - without being pushy! Outstanding service, personalised to meet your needs whilst managing expectations. You could see there was a human behind the agent, not just waiting for the commission! Easy to communicate with and always returned calls and messages. I have dealt with many estate agents previously and Abdul by far has been the best one! I can honestly say that it was because of him that the whole process ran smoothly and extremely quickly and he recommended a few firms but openly left it for us to decide, there was no pressure at all but I am so glad we did end up going for Eden (one of the recommendations) and Rebeka was again faultless. When selling our cherished home we approached three estate agents. Two of them are national and have local offices. We also tried ARQ which we had no previous dealings with or heard anything about. Abdul was extremely professional, efficient, friendly from the get go. One of the other estate agents I contacted has never returned my call (left two messages) the other called me 3-4 days later and the person I spoke to was making things up as he went along to get our sale, providing me with an unrealistic inflated sale price, etc. Abdul has always been honest, he gave me a realistic price he thought our house would go for and a good starting point to market at. He got our house on the market very quickly, he was very efficient with taking photos and videos, getting viewings etc. One of Abdul’s very strong points is that he is a local, he knows the area, has local knowledge which I think prospective buyers will appreciate. Abdul’s communication is unparalleled, he makes contact on a regular basis to see if there are blockers on our side and he contacts the buyers to see if there are any issues from there end. Abdul also suggested solicitors to use to undertake the conveyance. There was no pressure, he suggested firms he had experience of dealing with. We independently checked the firms out for costs and service and there were all very good. We chose Eden Solicitors, Rebeka was our lawyer. Rebeka was brilliant. One things I really appreciated is that she would always promptly respond to queries or questions. The service from this firm was first class. Also using a firm suggested by Abdul does in my mind have the benefit that he has a good working relationship with them and if necessary he can chase up issues or seek to remove blockers where necessary. Buying and selling property is one of the most stressful things a person can do. Abdul made the whole process painless. If I were buying or selling a property in East London, there is only one estate agent to chose ……Abdul and ARQ👍

I contracted ARQ Homes to sell my flat in East Ham as I was moving up to Manchester for work. I had bad experiences with a couple of the local estates agents when I was a first time buyer, so I was keen to find an agent who would treat both me and my buyer with respect. I went with ARQ Homes because Abdul put me at ease when we met, had good knowledge of the local area and was keen for me to meet with the buyer directly, which I appreciated. Abdul took great photos of the flat (for free), got it on the market quickly, got two offers after the first open house including one over asking price which I accepted. The process of selling and buying (we were in a chain of 5 that extended from London to Manchester to Scotland) was very stressful at times but Abdul did a great job of keeping things moving and keeping me informed. The agent in the middle of the chain was terrible at communicating, so Abdul ended up doing a lot of their job for them too, by communicating with the onward chain. Abdul really helped to keep the chain together because it was what was best for us, even when it would have been easier for him if we'd broken the chain and gone into a rental. I don't know what we would have done without him through this process. I am quite an anxious person and Abdul was good at reassuring me even when the processes was putting him under a lot of stress too. The most difficult thing in the whole process was the buyer's solicitor, who was slow and not good a communicating (to put it politely). I would recommend going with a solicitor that Abdul recommends, because he's aware of which ones will do a good job and which ones won't. People are often advised not to use the agent's recommended solicitor in case they don't have your interests at heart, but equally an agent like Abdul knows which solicitors are going to cause headaches as it's his profession and he's seen it all before. Using a competent, thorough but efficient solicitor who is a good communicator can make all the difference in a process like this. I'm grateful to Abdul and his team at ARQ and would definitely recommend them if you're looking to buy or sell property in East Ham.

The most important thing you need to know is that in this entire house-buying process, we said 'what on earth would we have done without Abdul?' somewhere between once a week at least and five times a day at most. We were comfortable with Abdul as soon as we met him - he and his lovely daughter (and everyone else we met from the team during the process) were warm and friendly, and not at all what I expected from estate agents. Abdul and his team have great knowledge of the Newham area and the right tactics to use to maximise the value of your property, but that's only partly why I'd recommend them. I would mostly recommend them because Abdul was incredibly consistent and tenacious in dealing with what turned out to be a very difficult and unstable chain - the fact that it held together at all was down to him. We're so relieved to finally be moving - thank you Abdul and team!

We were recommended Abdul as estate buyers a friend of our and he really is the real deal. Nice guy, we can go to the office meet him/ his team whenever we wanted too. He does everything for you. It’s like having an ‘estate agent/ solicitor/ and well a ‘miracle worker’ all in one. I say this because he helped with our legal forms and guided is in everything we needed to. Sometimes he just push the solicitors to do their jobs through his emails. Btw make sure you use a good solicitor too as it goes a long way too.

Six gold Stars out of Five Having lived in East Ham pretty much all of our near sixty years myself and my wife decided that as retirement beckoned it was time to sell up and head out for a quiet life in the country. They say you should always speak to a couple or more estate agents so I spoke with one of the big boys up the High Street but felt drawn to give ARQ a call. I had seen the companies online presence on local social media pages supporting young entrepreneurs and local charities and sports clubs and decided to give them a call. I wasn’t overly impressed with the big boys but Abdul at ARQ was different. Quietly confident and being a local lad He impressed me with his knowledge of the market in this area and his rates were on point too. I put my faith in Him, a decision which I have not regretted. My home was marketed online in a most professional manner and the photographs really did the place justice. Within three weeks We had accepted an offer which was most acceptable. The ball was rolling. Estate agents as a whole have a reputation akin to second hand car salesman. Abdul could single handedly change that perception. Communication is key and barely a day would pass without a call even if it was just for reassurance. Ours was a first time buyer where English was not her mother tongue and she was now in a chain of five. Abdul took a lot of his own time guiding her through the process. When he felt that other agents in our chain were not being as communicative as they should he instigated an email chain which turned out to be invaluable and without a doubt held this whole deal together and saved a lot of time. He always had a plan B and would offer alternative scenarios should the chain fail for any reason. Thankfully he kept it on track. Plan A was a good un. They say buying a home is one of the most stressful things you can do and I would agree. But a problem shared, is half as stressful. I couldn’t do what he does and although he’s a calm as anything that’s a lot of pressure to be under. I know he was feeling it at times but he never transferred that on to us. Now the sale is over we are going to miss ARQ and Abdul. We’ll miss those lunchtime meetings in Subway and daily catch-ups. As I said before if one man could restore faith in a much maligned business it’s Abdul with his professionalism, courtesy and humility. Thanks ARQ. Thanks Abdul. Legend.

THE BEST Estates Agents I’ve come across so far, hands down!!!! I work and Live in East London my whole life and was torn on where to buy my first Buy to let, as looking for a good investment. Rang a few EA, however soon as I ring Arq and spoke to a guy called Ali, I was sold. 1) he was HONEST, 2) Genuine and 3) accessible (he works very late hours. Lol). That is Customer obsession to the core. I work in Finance so don’t have time to waste, Ali was so good!!! He made the process between myself and the seller so easy, and best part, the deal was done and completion within 3 weeks!!! 😳 Honestly these guys are the best, in terms of the quality of their house also, and yes London is expensive, but all their houses gives you Money for your buck. Believe me, my Brother has 15 properties he has invested in since 80’s and even he said, ARQ the easiest and most straight forward best estate agents he has dealt with in 32 Years!!! That is saying something. 100% will be using these guys again and again.
