GoogleI recently invited three different estate agents to value my property in East Finchley. While all came across as professional, my experience with Martyn Gerrard was notably disappointing.
Andreas from Martyn Gerrard arrived without any valuation reports or supporting documents. Unlike the other agents, he did not begin by assessing the property. Instead, he chose to sit down and manage my expectations of Martyn Gerrard, rather than understanding the property itself.
The fees quoted were significantly higher than those of other reputable agents I consulted, and non-negotiable.
No concrete market analysis or valuation data was provided during the meeting, yet the property was valued above an already ambitious range. The overall approach felt overly aggressive and disconnected from the reality of the market.
Ultimately, I chose to trust my instincts and go with an agent who was more grounded, transparent, and respectful in their approach.

Marc also provided me with a service I haven’t received from other estate agents in the past, UPDATES!! Every 1 to 2 days I would receive an update from Marc without fail. He would let me know, how many viewings were booked, how many attendees, the feedback etc. Unlike with other agencies not once did I have to chase for an update. Marc and his team have dealt with the entire letting out process for me and I haven’t had to worry once.
