GoogleWet food at deleting negative messages , this estate agency is a thief . They took my deposit and never returned it because I didn’t pass the reference. They never made me aware of not passing reference deposit will be not returnable . They lie and don’t help at all .
I’m so sorry you feel this way but that is why as an agency we get every applicant to fill in a questionnaire before we speak to our landlords this gives the applicants the opportunity to honestly awnser the basic information needed. It’s then explained to applicants that once a holding is taken it’s Non refundable if Homelet our in-depth reference company finds any adverse debts / bad references etc etc. Unfortunately we work for our landlords and homelet failed you as you had many issues you have failed to mention, out of good will we returned some of your deposit which we didn’t have to do. This review is very dishonest but we stand by making sure we only place financial secure tenants in our landlords property. You will find all letting agents will do the same.

GoogleKerry at Mantlestates has managed the sale of my late relative's house and has been an absolute star from start to finish! She has been efficient, professional, conscientious, knowledgeable, understanding, entertaining and human and has gone above and beyond any preconceived expectations I had of an estate agent's role. She has made me laugh when I was angry or emotional (after 2 difficult bereavements really close together) and has managed communications between the various parties very effectively and promptly. She has explained things in language I understand and clearly knows her job well. When she hasn't been able to be around (which was rare) the team have also stepped in and gone above and beyond! Worth every penny. Thank you so much!

GoogleI am quite shocked. Everything started off great. Was shown around the property i was interested in, all fine. Was asked to pay a holding deposit (which i was not informed was non-refundable), however from here i wasn't too happy. The communication was shocking. I wouldn't get a response for days. It wasn't until i asked for my holding deposit, that i was informed it was non-refundable. It doesn't seem very professional.
