Would highly recommend Donald Ross and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in future. Tracey and Gavin provided a great customer service and couldn’t help enough with any queries we had on both our purchase and sale. Tracey kept me updated on a daily basis with feedback from viewers, scheduled appointments etc. Our house sold within a week at a closing date at a price we were delighted with.

Thank you so much to the team at Donald Ross, Ayr for making my house sale so easy. My house sold within 9 days, for far more than HR price. Every single member of the team worked with such professionalism. Will gave me their quote while Maureen and Elliot showed my house to viewers. A wonderful photographer, who really cared about making my house look its best, took beautiful photos. Helen Hunter then chose the pics she thought were best and even swapped one for me that I wasn't quite sure of. Naomi did her job with expertise beyond her years and I could not be more grateful. This team is friendly, kind, never pushy, always professional and available for any questions at any time, even weekends. I hope to be buying my next house with Donald Ross, Ayr. I'd never choose to go with any other real estate agency after this wonderful experience. Who said selling your house is stressful? Not with the Ayr Team at Donald Ross it isn't. We chose Donald Ross, and specifically Fraser Stewart, having chatted with a good few agents around Ayr. Fraser is energetic and he brought that energy and determination to a sale that was complicated and took time. He communicated clearly and honestly, and returned my calls pretty fast. I was really satisfied with the final outcome, and I felt he understood the local market at what is an unusual time.

I felt I had to write this review to give credit to a very professional hard-working team within the Kilmarnock branch. From the first meeting to the last they have been exceptional. They are always at the end of the phone to answer any questions you have and support you throughout your full journey providing expert advice. Im so glad we chose to go with Donald Ross they have been first class (the media team and photographers are also amazing in showcasing your home). You wont be disappointed!! Barry G

We offered a price for a 3 bed flat they accepted and told us we had it subject to our lawyer getting in touch with them they didn’t even give us 16 hours over night and they came back and said they had received a better offer we feel this company used us to push someone else to go higher and feel that is bad practice by them, offer accepted at 4.30 one day and they didn’t even give us a chance to get the lawyer to call them as next day they cancelled ours and went with someone else Not a good estate agents in my view when you accept an offer then you must allow a short time to get your lawyer to do there job it was a cash deal no chain money in the bank we sent them our bank details proof of ID and our lawyers details then they dropped us feel it was a fix to get some poor guy to pay more money

Donal Ross are an outstanding estate agents. From the first moment we contacted them right through the selling process they were fast, enthusiastic and extremely professional.They sold our property the day after the board was erected and when our buyers found they had lost their mortgage due to being on furlough, Donald Ross re-erected their board and sold our home again the next day for a higher price than the first buyers!My sister & I, cannot rate them high enough!!

What a fabulous team and such excellent teamwork and professionalism. From the first contact with Fraser and a decision on a Friday morning to go with Donald Ross, the team swung in to action immediately. The homebuyer report was booked, the photographer was booked, a solicitor was recommended and we were on the market a week later. I left the keys and left the viewings to Callum. . I was informed of every viewing and the feedback from those viewings. In less than three weeks we accepted a very good offer. Maureen talked me through the offer and kept me informed of the process to completion. A few weeks later the contact was signed. Thank you to everyone involved.

I have been renting out a flat in Ayrshire for 14 years or so. My early experiences of Letting Agents were very disappointing, to say the least. Luckily I'm now with Donald Ross and the difference is amazing. Tenants bring their problems of course but my Agents deal quickly and efficiently. I like the fact that I'm normally dealing with one person - Fiona Hunter. I've seen other reviews, warmly mentioning her. I agree. She has clearly gone the extra mile to ensure that the right tenant is going into the right environment. This has resulted in a happy tenant and a smooth tenancy so far (touch wood). Wanted me to reduce my house price to increase footfall which only got people’s hopes up of purchasing my home at a low price than valued. Each time i rejected they then told me its not realistic what I'm looking for even although to get me to sign up they told me i’d get my home report value and would sell within a week. Overpriced for limited service. I ended up agreeing my sale price privately in the end with my buyer as Donald Ross told me my buyer could only afford a certain amount. If you chose to sell with Donald Ross don’t be fooled into a dream story and stick to what you want to sell for.

GoogleVery unprofessional staff with little communication skills! Tried to insinuate that myself and partner were responsible for not securing a house, because we did not follow up a viewing the previous day by us contacting the estate agent, giving feedback. I have not known an estate agent who did not follow up a viewing on behalf of their client.In addition, we were not giving the opportunity to submit an offer or to better the offer already accepted! Poor service! Thank you for your reply! I initially contacted your company by phone on Monday morning asking if I could view a property. After your initial reply indicating that you could not contact vendor, I waited until the following mid-morning for a response, after no response, I decided to contact your office again.The information regarding preferred viewing times apparently was not known to your staff member, although all my details and viewing preferences were confirmed at initial phone call. In addition, your email confirming said viewing had the wrong date. At no time did you contact me after the viewing by phone or email. I appreciate your indication of your busy workload but you have sadly failed on this occasion below your apparent high standards.
I refute your statement above, there is not a single unprofessional member of staff within Donald Ross Estate Agents we are in the top 3% of estate agents in the UK awarded to us by Rightmove. Mr Clark you called the office yesterday afternoon on the day after your evening appointment at a property that has had 23 viewers in a few days, we call/email EVERY viewer for feedback throughout the course of the following day and we work each night until that job is completed. However, if a viewer is of a mind to make an offer for a property of their choice the normal course of action would be that the viewer would either a) contact their solicitor as soon as they are open to make an offer or at least note interest in said property or b) call the agent as soon as possible to make a verbal offer. You did neither, and another viewer took that course of action and secured the house they wanted. As I advised you on our phone call, the market is moving so quickly if you like a property then let the agent or your solicitor know as soon as you possibly can. Best regards in securing your next property.
