GoogleI recently sold a house through Winkworth and was kept very well informed through the whole process, by both Zack and Evie. As there were quite a few properties in the chain the process took a while, but I always felt I knew what was going on. I’ve used Winkworth Ealing on three property transactions over the years and have always been given a professional, friendly service so happy to recommend.

Belligerent, argumentative, unprofessional, rude...I called to invite Winkworth Ladbroke Grove to my house, with a view to asking them to sell it. I spoke with the franchisee who kept interjecting when I tried to speak, refused to answer a question preferring to justify the 'fee' arrangement by referencing the status quo, and who was unwilling to offer me their best percentage prior to coming into my house. Clearly politeness and professionalism isn't part of the service offered by Winkworth Ladbroke Grove and they continue to reinforce the poor reputation enjoyed by the industry as a whole.Quite why Estate Agents feel they can base their business model on an egregious percentage of the value of your home is beyond my ken, and is an outdated, outmoded and foreign principle I am unwilling to work with.

I have been with Winkworth for quite a while now. I found their service to be excellent and they are very professional and extremely helpful. My tenant left during the pandemic, and i was starting to worry as i don’t live where my property is located. One of their agents called Nishi, helped me throughout the whole process of hunting new tenants to all other agreement related issues. I am extremely grateful and thank wholeheartedly to all the agents who have helped me finding a new tenant promptly and efficiently go through my tenancy contract. Highly recommended!

We found everyone we dealt with at Winkworth to be highly professional, friendly and communicative. We would definitely recommend their service to anyone looking to sell. They worked hard to get the best possible price for our property and were happy to give us advice along the way. We were tenants on one of the properties they managed at Winkworth Bow Estate Agents.First, they are difficult to come and fix any house issues. They just want you to pay, and they would do their minimum or even less to manage the property.Second, we have left the property long ago, we left it in a rather good condition, for a over 4 years tenancy, and they want to keep all the deposit. It has been over a month and we are still waiting for our deposit.They are not coming back to us, they are ignoring our emails, they are just a bad agency.I have lived in many places with okay agencies, but Winkworth would be the worst. I would not recommend anyone to rent a property with them.Please if you are reading this before renting, find another agency you will not regret it.

AVOID Winkworth estate agents (KIRSTIE BARBER). Kirstie will give you all false info to get you to make an offer and will lie about the property’s history. She will lie and when caught red handed, will lie to you again to cover her first lie. Pure shameless or just another estate agent! Do not use Winkworth as it a very dishonest business that you will keep on chasing to get some answers and will end up wasting your time & money. Just poor customer service & liars.

Winkworth, Poringland. We called them on Friday about the property to rent minutes after it went on Rightmove. They do not offer virtual viewings even if you live 200 miles away. Agent said they are only taking details to schedule offline appointments, took our details. On Monday they said viewings arranged for Thursday but it's all fully booked already (how?) and they will see when to book us for other day. When asked to film a short video when they will be at the property to understand if it's worth a 200 mile trip - they said they can't do this.Absolutely ridiculous service!

I am a small landlord and made the huge mistake of renting my houses through Winkworths and regretted it ever since. The current dispute I am having is over the deposit and who they represent. In practice, they seem to think it is the tenant.....
Thank you for taking the time to write a review however naturally Winkworth are disappointed that on this occasion it is a negative review. All of the Winkworth offices are independently owned and operated and therefore we would be grateful if you could indicate the location of the office you have been dealing with so the matter can be looked into. Apologies once again if we have fallen short of your expectations but please do provide more information to see if the matter can be resolved.

The Representative from Winkworth replied with a very short response.However, the students have yet to have the student holding deposit returned, the agent has not had the decency to indicate how long they have to wait to have the money returned as they both have to look for new accommodation when university starts soon.My student son will now have to travel from a different location to start the transferred job in Fulham, thanks to the Agent from Winkworth situated on Fulham High Street.
