Unhelpful and poor customer service.

Avoid at all costs. Agents are not very helpful and when attempting to rent from them, all these additional costs kept cropping up. There are hidden costs ie. inventory, lettings contract costs.Agents are difficult to get hold of and do not return calls.

I deal with April Hurren and the lettings team regularly as my business carries out reference checks for the company. I know they are always extremely careful regarding the tenants they put forward for properties, this makes our job much easier. They keep the tenants informed, again, this helps us as the tenants know what to expect when we ask for information, we are very thorough so sometimes it may seem we ask for a lot of information and Winkworth Ealing always works with us to ensure the landlord has had every possible check carried out - this is very important in the current market. This agent operates with integrity and care and I would recommend them to any landlord or tenant.

I have always found the staff in this office extremely helpful and efficient. They have rented my house out for a number of years and achieved the best market rent at the time. If I need any help or information they are always happy to oblige. I would have no hesitation in recommending them and would make a special mention of Fiona Lee, the lettings manager, who manages her team so well and April Hurren who is very efficient in the back office.

Julia (and her manager Fiona) helped my wife and I find some good properties. In my opinion, they went out of their way to make use feel comfortable about the area, properties etc., and also helped us go through the negotiation with the landlord in a very friendly and professional manner. Julia took personal time from her time-off on a Saturday to drive us around Ealing and show us the various locations and amenities to get us comfortable. Throughout the transaction, she has been absolutely fantastic to deal with. I would absolutely recommend this agency, along with Julia/Fiona

I have rented my flat in South Ealing with Winkworth for over 5 years. The initial letting process & subsequent contract renewals have always gone smoothly & I liked that they used an independent company for the check-in/inventory. They also manage the property because my landlord lives abroad. Mina, in particular, is fantastic - she responds quickly & will always go over & above to resolve any issues. When I look to move again, I will not hesitate to use Winkworth, if possible, & would definitely recommend them to others.

I switched to Winkworth after an unsuccessful attempt to sell my house through another big name, high street agent a few years ago. I noticed a big difference in the integrity of the people and the service. The fees were slightly better, and they really engaged with me to find the right way to promote our (somewhat unique) property. Overall, I was pleased. I have had a variety of bad experiences with estate agents, and overall I have a very low opinion of the industry. I'm sure Winkworth has their faults, but as estate agents go, I thought these folks were pretty decent.

We had a lovely experience working with Olivia. She was friendly, efficient, accomodating, and she responded promptly to all communication with her. She brought great property options forward to us whilst still keeping our budget in mind. Often agents try to push you above your maximum, but this was not the case with Olivia as she was very aware and respectful. We really felt she acted in our best interests, as well as the landlord's, which is an amazing balance to achieve. Thank you for all your hard work Olivia!

Two agents might be better than one.

An encouraging start with a higher than expected valuation and a flexible (timewise) buyer lined up but which in the event wasn't able to be flexible and so bought elsewhere. Many subsequent viewings and second viewings but the agent failed to find a buyer to meet the agents valuation coupled with flexibility. In short, 12 weeks with this sole agency proved a complete waste of time. Regret unable to recommend.

Winkworth Tiverton took over the property management of our tenancy just under a year ago, in that space of time we had three different members of staff managing, they did absolutely nothing to assist in managing the property.
