I have just had a tenancy renewal through Life Residential's Renewal Department. I was looked after by Abby. He did a fantastic job and handled the negotiation very diplomatically between myself and the tenant. He achieved a satisfactory conclusion for both sides and didn't falter when a couple of unexpected issues cropped up. Great job and much appreciated

GoogleAWFUL COMPANY. Lazy and greedy staff who do not care at all about tenants. My partner moved into his apartment last year. Since his move in date the oven has not worked, which was mentioned at the very start. His lease ends in 2 weeks and they STILL have not repaired the oven. It hasn't worked for his entire tenancy... I mean really shocking stuff. Furthermore, both bathrooms have leaks that have not been repaired, the sink broke and numerous lightbulbs do not work. These issues were alerted to Darcey Nicholls (most useless and awful property manager) months ago and several are still yet to be resolved. We went to Darcey Nicholls first, who spent months wasting our time and efforts (completely and utterly useless and at this point I think she knows she's taking advantage of people). She then after months told us to tell everything to her manager Melody, who has yet to respond to any complaints. Now we have some random woman named Becca also asking us to repeat all of our issues AGAIN. So disrespectful considering we both spent so much time preparing all evidence clearly and sending it all MONTHS AGO (if not at the very start of the tenancy!!!!) I mean these people are truly lazy, cruel and greedy and this is the worst agency I have ever experienced. We have asked for compensation, now to 3 different team members. We can tell they are trying to waste our time until we give up, but it's not happening. What a horrid company. Darcey Nicholls you are a nasty piece of work.

Google8 years renting in the UK, this is my first time leaving a review. They are nice and professional when they respond to you, but very slow at responding emails if you get any responses. I often have to chase multiple times. It has been more than 4 weeks since I moved out of my property, the deposit which is almost £2000 still haven’t been returned. My chase-up emails have been completely ignored since the 8th of Sep. My check in report said the place was “cleaned with omissions but many areas are not clean”, and the check out report said “professional standard”. Yet I still haven’t got my deposit returned. During my tendency, some issues reported were just ignored and never acknowledged. I just simply gave up in the end. Think carefully when you rent a property from them.

We recently moved out of our apartment, which was managed by Life Residential, and we are still waiting for our final bills from our previous service providers as part of the deposit release process. During our checkout, our property manager, Arjin Dogan, was incredibly helpful, kind, and responsive. We experienced some difficulties with our previous property managers, who ignored our emails for weeks. I truly wish we had the opportunity to work with Arjin from the beginning of our tenancy. I just wanted to express my gratitude and contribute to her recognition.

GoogleEverything was fine before we moved and while we lived in the flat (we moved into a new flat so no boiler issue or other sort of maintenance issues experienced) but when we moved out they wanted to charge us for every little scratch on the wall. Also we got our deposit back 2 months delayed and they did not return the full amount agreed nor did they explain why they got to that final amount. Not partners at all. If you can, look for another agency.

GoogleHighly disorganised, property managers keep changing every 5 minutes (without tenants being notified), emails often ignored or answered with huge delays... But the worst issue has come at the time of requesting my deposit back. I have rented in London for >10 years and I have never had to wait more than a few days for my deposit to be returned. It's been now 3 weeks since my tenancy has ended, and no one seems to bother replying my emails which has left me no option but to raise a formal dispute... I can't in good conscience recommend Life Residential to anyone. PLEASE BEWARE BEFORE RENTING WITH THEM!
