I would just like to thank Nicky, Ian, Chera-lise and Nichol for helping me sell my home, I moved to london, had a baby, got married and sold our house all withing 3 months, possibly the most stressful time of my life but they always went above and beyond to help, be on end of phone and where so attentive at emails, phonecalls and doing the leg work for me, on top of that they are a group of the loveliest down to earth genuine people too. From the first call we made to enquire about a property, the service we received from Sales Manager Nicola Hall was excellent. Extremely efficient and friendly, so much so that after our viewing, we asked to use the same office to obtain a valuation of our property. Ian Taylor called out to advise us and again the same efficient friendly service resulted in our house being photographed within a couple of days, and online shortly after. Within a couple more days, we had an offer, which we accepted, and consequently because we were “proceed-able”, our offer on the property we fell in love with was accepted. I cannot fault the service we received from both Nicola and Ian, and would have no hesitation in recommending Your Move.

From initial contact with Your Move in Durham City until the completion of sale the staff provided an excellent level of service. Communication between ourselves and all members of staff was first class. As it turned out our vendors were also selling via Your Move and both our sale and the buying process were delivered with the same first class service. Ian, a very experienced valuer, accurately valued our property according to market conditions. He provided sound reasoning for his valuation and was readily available to speak to when we required advice. Nicki, the team manager was outstanding in her support throughout the sale process. Furthermore, she was well acquainted with the office of our independent legal adviser and proved to be an excellent liaison across all parties. Annaleigh, member of staff in Durham and our post sale liaison person Sue, both provided helpful and timely responses to our enquiries and requests for information. From the initial very professional valuation by James and the ongoing support and communication from, Annaleigh, Maddy and Angela we eventually arrived at a sale. Any issues were outside their remit including an undervaluation by the oft quoted Google 2* e-surv and a belated 11th hour request by the buyer for a level 3 survey which delayed the process by around three weeks. The sale was eventually completed albeit belatedly and at a reduced price due to the combined latter factors. My only criticism is that due to the external factors there was a lull in communications towards completion - but we got there in the end! Thank you.
