Happy with the speed in which I was accepted on the letting of 5 Boston Street but unhappy after been told I was getting keys only to be put back 3 weeks due to electrical work needing doing and been let down twice. In the end I eventually moved in and am happy with the house apart from been left with a bathroom light that stays on still waiting for fixing

This is in addition to their friendly and courteous manner both on the phone and in person

haven't responded to any of my cash offers . sent over 5 messages theses past few weeks and they dont respond to any of them. so if your selling a house you wont get my cash offer and if your intrested in buying they wont respond. bit pointless really

GoogleFantastic service from the Durham office from beginning to end. The staff are very proactive and got us a sale within 3 days. They (Mandy) kept us updated on progress, without prompting, not only about our buyer but also where everyone else in the chain was. We got more information from Dowen than from our solicitor. We have no hesitation in recommending Dowen and would use them again for future sales.

GoogleDawn in lettings has been very efficient in handling the letting of one of my properties in the Durham area. She has arranged gas safety repairs and certificates, a small repair to a broken window and many smaller jobs and tasks regarding the let. We now have a tenant in the house and look forward to a long and mutually beneficial business arrangement. I would certainly recommend Dowen's service.
