GoogleCouldn’t of been happier with the service. Went into town with the intention of putting up with a different sales agent. But the service received was poor - popped into Dowens with no appointment and no expectations. Couldn’t of been more helpful. Spent time talking to us - arranged a valuation. When the house went up for sale the property sold within three days with 9 viewings and well over the asking price. Great service.
Ben, those comments made me so proud, basic customer service has been lost in the industry, at Dowen we always try and keep to the core values and basic principals of customer service. To me you do your best for the person who is in front of you or on the phone, nothing else matters apart from them. The team are always there to reassure and give friendly advice regarding next steps and regularly communicate expectations. Having never sold a house before, Jennifer guided me through the process and was always at the end of the phone to answer any queries and was very knowledgable. GoogleWe had initially been offered to have our estate agent fees paid by our new housing developer if we agreed to go with their recommended service. David from Dowen came out to look at the house for an unrelated process and we ended up choosing to pay ourselves and go with Dowen. They were professional, responsive and knew exactly what to do to get us a sale for our property. hopefully we are now in our forever home but should we ever choose to move again We would definitely go with Dowen and have recommended them to friends and family!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

I feel like Dowen were the glue holding together the whole process, even though we were buying at the same time as selling. The information, experience and knowledge shared to us was so valuable. They've done a great job achieving a sale and we've really appreciated the follow up support and updates from the team to let us know how things are progressing. highly recommend.

Not even worthy of one star. What can I say. Given a 4.15pm appointment to view a house for rent. Another couple turned up who had the same appointment time. 4.30 no show from Dowdens. Phoned them to be told someone was on the way. 4.50 no show, phoned Dowdens again to be told by a very rude, ignorant, bad tempered member of staff that they had no properties to rent in Sedgwick Close, Hartlepool why are you there? She asked. Dowdens YOU made the appointment for us, YOU lied when telling us someone was on the way. We stood there like four fools waiting for you to show up. Embarrassing and upsetting. You Dowdens are a complete unprofessional, uncaring, incompetent waste of space. Never again will I have anything to do with your sham, joke, waste of a business. No apology just out fault. Your staff need a good jolt to make them professional, customer friendly and intelligent. You are a complete and utter waste of time.
