Poppy Lawrance has been amazing! When we first met at a property that wasn’t the one, she listened to my criteria and had me booked into another viewing the next day, of which the property was perfect! Intercounty Estate Agents (Dunmow) are always a phone call away and have provided responses to any questions I've had in less than 24 hours, which is rare! Bishop’s Stortford office

Selected the Bishop’s Stortford office to sell our house and what a great job they did. Valuation a little higher than another agency but they marketed and sold at that value (thanks Will Jobber). Then the move process was difficult at both ends of the chain, but our ‘progressor’ pushed them all and kept it together. Probably kept us sane too (thanks Doug Whybrow)! We are moving :-)

From the moment we had a valuation done by Karl, he and the Intercounty team have been fantastic. The first thing that really stood out to me was the marketing. Their write-up was far superior to our other agent’s and they clearly paid attention to detail. They have kept in regular contact, updating us on the market and buyer mindset when our house was not shifting at first, and advising us on price adjustments and how to ensure the most effective viewing experience. They have been the complete opposite of our other well-known high street agent, who has barely contacted us and never given us updates without us asking first. Karl sent details of our property out to hundreds of people and was tenacious right through to confirming a sale. He helped guide us while negotiating offers. Once we accepted an offer, he was in constant communication, giving detailed updates and ensuring a smooth transition into using solicitors to process the sale. Karl has been honest and candid from the start which has really helped guide us with the price of our property and meant we trust him. That is so important in an agent-seller relationship. He has helped to progress our sale and in doing so, has also helped progress our purchase of another property. 10/10 and would highly recommend Intercounty Dunmow to anyone.

Doug Whybrow is the reason I am giving 5 stars, he is able to progress sales quickly by being an excellent mediator and communicator between all parties. He kept us in the loop and up to date and was quick to act when needed. A very pleasant and highly professional individual, it's just a shame the sale is complete and we won't get to work with him again anytime soon!
