From my first initial enquiry and then follow up calls after viewing a property, then subsequent calls with further matches of potential properties to suit. I have mostly dealt with Dan who has been professional and helpful. He has followed up with further information I have requested in a courteous, professional and enthusiastic manner. A refreshing change. I have previously dealt with Matt Nicol in his earlier years and have seen the company grow. We were very impressed with the Staff from Nicol and Co from the beginning to the end of our house moving process. They were organised, very professional and above all always in touch and keeping us informed of procedures. Hannah worked hard for us and was an excellent go between between us and our buyers, always keeping us in touch with progress or issues. Her telephone manner was always calm and re assuring. Georgina was an absolute Star during this stressful time, dealing with issue after issue in the purchase of our new home. Nothing was too much trouble and she never gave up in reaching the very best outcome for us. She was constantly in touch and her empathy and loyalty impressed us both. When your little one’s early vocabulary suddenly involves ‘Hi Hannah’- you know you’re getting lots of update phone calls, which is never a bad thing when trying to sell, locate or buy a house in a fast paced market. The Malvern office were so proactive. Erica and Charlotte sold our property and actively sourced our next, Hannah kept our chain progressing, heard our worries and spoke to us every few days (as well speaking to our buyer/seller and solicitors), and Simon went the extra mile to help our completion. Nicol and Co are doing things differently, and for us this worked brilliantly. The phone was always answered, we sold quickly, and our chain stayed on track and went through at a fast pace. The ready to sell service meant we had almost everything to hand for Conveyancing, and post completion care has been great.We definitely recommend Nicol and Co Malvern. I recently bought a house in Worcester and having been through this process several times I am very used to dealing with Estate Agents and didn't have very high expectations. Wow was I wrong! Nicol & Co were thorough and professional throughout and their Senior Sales Progressor Leanne Fletcher was an absolute joy to deal with. She was constantly in touch, with updates on how things were progressing, without being pushy, she liaised with all parties regularly, gently reminding and getting things done swiftly. The whole process was done and dusted in ten weeks which is amazing during covid times and current working practices (my last purchase took 6 months!) and that was in no small part because of Leanne's efficiency and tenaciousness. I would absolutely deal with Nicol & Co again and would recommend them without hesitation. In fact to prove a point, I am actually using them to rent the property I have just bought. It is so refreshing not to feel disappointed with the level of customer service given by a company nowadays.

My wife and I asked several local estate agents to value our house, including Nicol & Co. We chose Nicol & Co. because we sensed a higher level of motivation and friendliness compared to the other companies.They valued our house accurately, achieving the full asking price. The transaction was then handled by one of their sales progressors, (Jessica). Our transaction turned into a nightmare because our buyer used probably the best known cut-price online estate agents, who in due course appointed the worst imaginable solicitors. Their solicitors did not even acknowledge multiple communications from Jessica (or our solicitor), let alone action them!Jessica provided regular updates to us and to the other parties involved in the transaction. When it became apparent that the transaction was in grave danger of collapsing, Jessica escalated the matter to her sales manager (Coralie Walrond)Coral made an incredible effort to keep the transaction alive. She spent hours every day chasing the solicitors that were causing all the problems. During this period, she kept us updated every day by both phone and email. She also liaised closely with the other parties, keeping them onboard. If it were not for her determination and considerable experience we have no doubt that it would have collapsed. Eventually this paid off and the transaction was successfully completed.My wife and I give Nicol & Co. our strongest possible recommendation. They always answered their phone promptly and responded to our emails. They demonstrated incredible determination and competence to achieve a successful outcome. They also stood out for their friendly and supportive attitude throughout. We appointed them rather than another local agent primarily because we sensed a higher degree of motivation and friendliness. When the going got tough, our assessment proved to be accurate. This experience has also demonstrated the risks associated with instructing an online cut, price estate agent, and vindicates our decision to appoint Nicol & Co.
