I have used Rightmove to search for property and find it extremely useful. However trying to sell my house has been a different matter. I am using Tepilo, an online estate agency, and have had very good service from them but they have had huge problems getting my correct house details onto Rightmove. It has taken Rightmove over a week to sort out the problem and then it was only done because the girls at Tepilo insisted keeping them on the phone until the the problem was solved. Considering that they advertise countless houses I cannot imagine that it was difficult to put up the correct search details.

I have moved several times over the past ten years and there is no question in my mind that this site is the best by far, the alerts are almost daily, the site/app never crashes I realise that agents are feeding into this site but for overall general ease of use you cant beat registering for alerts in the area your looking to find in we found our last house due to Rightmove popping up on other sites to, I remember eing on ebay looking for something and the pop up appearing on the side of the screen, so thank you we love it in our new place

I've been looking for somewhere new to rent for over three weeks now, with no luck as yet. This is predominantly because letting agents very, very rarely respond to the enquiry form sent in via the Rightmove website. When I've tried to chase enquiries via the telephone I've found that a) some of the letting agent telephone numbers are incorrect on Rightmove, b) a lot of letting agents claim never to have seen your enquiry form/that it has been "lost", and c) that you are promised call backs that never materialise.
I have also noticed that some letting agents are not making it clear on Rightmove whether properties will accept pets (and when you enquire about it you're told that if it doesn't say anything about pets, it means no pets allowed.... (?)), and that quite a few semi-detached and terraced properties are coming up in the detached-only search results.
