I was asked to be my son’s guarantor - I sent proof that I had immediate access to £25000 and £21000 other income but they decided I was too poor to be his guarantor! Not only did he lose his flat they took £250 for their services! Do not be tempted to act as a sponsor unless you’re mega wealthy! I own my own home with no mortgage, have savings and guaranteed income and sent proof. I have complained but haven’t heard back in 2 weeks

Need to have more criterias to choose from. I find your platform very hard to use. Needs to be more flexible. For example. 1)When I search for a house to buy, I would like the option to exclude holiday homes2) When I search for a house, I would like the option to exclude mobile homes. 3) When I rent I would like the option to choose properties that would allow pets. Force estate agents to stipulate this rather than wasting allot of time searching. Rigtmove - You need to think outside the box so that people can have better experience using your plateform.

Waste of time . Most are student accommodations and the others don't respond. Why can't I put a application into right move and they actually help me get a place to live so I'm not wasting my time writing to people that never respond. I'm a good tenant that pays his way with no problems and yet I can't get somewhere to live because I have a dog that is better than a student and quieter and cleaner. People are really heartless.

I engaged Genesis City to sell my property on Rightmove earlier this year, but after deciding not to proceed, I informed them to delist the property on June 22, 2023. To my dismay, I discovered the property reposted on October 4, 2023. Upon notifying Genesis City on October 25, 2023, they attributed it to a possible system error, stating they were investigating internally and reaching out to Rightmove. Despite their assurance, I've received no updates, leaving me uncertain whether the issue lies with Rightmove or an error on the part of this property agency.

I appreciate how disappointing it can be to enquire about a property to discover, this can happen in a competitive property market.

I particularly like the filters and the map drawing feature. Two suggestions for improvement: add a filter to search by floor size, and add a filter to search by £s per square foot.

Amended from a 1* to a 3* as Chris has relinquished a fair portion of my deposit back after initially trying to take it all.
Onboarding and viewing - can't argue, very good.
Tenant and residence management - not too good, slow to respond, rather dismissive of issues but how much is the landlord?
Departing the property - abysmal.
I don't know how much is Chris, or how much was my landlord, but it wasn't a great experience and one I would avoid if time was to repeat itself.
3* as Chris isn't great, but not as bad as he was (when trying to hold all my deposit, before finally releasing £600 of the £1300, which is a big change of heart).

Emailed rightmove to ask if there was any chance the date listed could be changed as my property had previously sold and then the sale fell through. Advised by estate agent that not enough time had passed so they couldn't do anything. Not happy with the response from rightmove stating that the only way this could be changed is if the property was marked as 'sold stc' for over 7 wks and they needed notifying within 5 working days - I only discovered this was an option 2 months later after speaking to a friend! They also had the cheek to suggest I reduce my price by 2%! My house is still on sale and I believe it is being affected by rightmove's 'date first listed' (6th Apr) as people will be looking at that and assuming there is something wrong with my property. We are now getting ridiculous offers from people who see that as an opportunity to negotiate a much lower price. Not a very helpful site for genuine people trying to sell their house!
