An excellent service with personable staff

An excellent service with personable staff who completely understood our requirements. We rented an apartment through Maria at the Ramsgate Branch of Wards. Maria made the whole pre-tenancy experience incredibly straightforward - making sure we had all the correct information when we needed it, follow up calls to make sure we understood everything, even a service to set up all the utilities which ensured we were settled in time for Christmas. We even received a moving in gift pack! We've used several letting agents in the past and Wards easily come out on top.

Great experience

Everyone at Wards of Rochester was super helpful and very friendly. In a very strange market, they were always honest and upfront about the situation. Devon, in particular, was really helpful and friendly and always did his utmost to help.Once the sale was agreed the rest of the team helped to push everything through very efficiently.Overall a very positive experience and I’d recommend Wards.

Excellent customer service skills paired with unrivalled knowledge and experience

When I decided to sell my home, I invited 3 different estate agents to visit and provide a quote. I bought the home through Wards almost 5 years before, and my neighbour had recently sold with them so naturally they made the shortlist. What stood out to me about Wards when they visited, was their genuine interest in me selling my property as well as helping me to find my next home. Their fees are a touch higher than their competitors, but don't forget you get what you pay for. My house was sold within 3 days of being on the market - the entire team were great at communicating and liaising with me. Kenny was amazing, he is genuine in his enthusiasm to make you happy and help you on your journey - and he cares about the right decision for you and your family.As amazing as Kenny and the team are, I do however have to make a special mention. The real MVP in my eyes was Kim Batchelor, the Senior Sales Progresser. I remembered Kim from when I bought the property years before as a first time buyer, as she consistently kept me in the loop during a long chain and put my mind at ease, but nothing could prepare me for the long chain of selling and purchasing and the various unforeseen issues that would arise above me in the chain. Kim is an expert in her field, and I have no doubt that the road between agreeing a sale and purchase and completion would have been twice as long if it wasn't for her help. Kim communicated with me almost daily, including texting me when she wasn't working but had heard of updates. Kim was professional at all times, but also extremely friendly and personable. I will forever be grateful for her help in such a busy and stressful time in our life.

It's a Yes from me for Wards at Strood!

From the moment I signed up with the team at Wards in Strood, I knew I had made contact with the right estate agent. I highly recommend them for their attention and care for their customers namely Abby and Anouska. After Abby got an understanding of the type of property I was looking for she constantly kept me up to date with new properties that had come up. It was a long journey, but she was always very supportive and encouraging. Anouska worked tirelessly when I finally found a property, constantly calling to keep me in the loop and reassuring me that all was going to plan. Anouska is a good listener, makes time for her customers and never makes you feel like you are bothering her with any questions you have. Emily Thorndycraft helped my sister in finding a rental accommodation. My sister's accommodation situation was tricky as she is fleeing the war in Ukraine. Emily was professional and personable at the same time. We were so happy to find accommodation that suited relatives with children. Great Service - Sales Progressor Kim Batchelor, Lower Gillingham

I am giving a 5 star review just because our delayed 7 month chain of selling our property and purchasing a new one was a very long, painfully stressful experience as there were multiple issues from our buyers end, however, our Sales Progressor Kim Batchelor (Lower Gillingham branch) made every effort to prioritise our case, constantly chased for updates and she kept us updated throughout. There were many occasions where she was working on her days off, constantly chasing our buyers solicitors, his lender, his mortgage broker etc and it was evident that Kim felt our pain and frustration, felt empathy towards us, and so went out of her way to push things forward with the powers she had. She is also very friendly, positive and enthusiastic over the phone which is always nice. With the stress we experienced, especially with nearly losing our property due to the excessive delays, it made such a difference having Kim on our side, as she clearly takes pride in her role and does it well.Many thanks for your efforts Kim, your persistence and competence contributed towards our sale and purchase EVENTUALLY moving forward to completion!!! I would also like to mention other members of Wards such as Gary Sneddon, Michael and Jenny based in the Gillingham branch, who also made efforts to work on our case and chase the necessary parties when we requested them to do so. They also always called back with an update when they promised they would, so their communication with us was good. Thank you Wards of Kent, I highly recommend their services.

Me and my husband are just days away from completing on our new home. It hasn't been the easiest or smoothest process for us and its taken a lot longer than we first thought, but despite the hurdles we faced in other areas of the buying/selling process, we can't begin to thank Grace from the herne bay branch enough. What can we say, from the very first meeting completing the valuation, through the viewings and getting an offer Ash, Prince, Tash and the team at the Chatham branch have been outstanding.The chain on our house sale hasn't been the easiest, to say the least, but through Ashley's and the teams above and beyond approach to chasing everyone and more importantly keeping us informed as best as possible. Recently i had a great oportunity to come across Terri and Shumila at the "Wards - New Ash Green" branch in terms of buying a property. I should admit that they are one of the best agents i have come across. Honestly it was an amazing experience and i would highly recommend them. I was much amazed with the amount of extended support at all times through this clear but lengthy process at each step. The amount of information from Terri and her team was so crisp, precise, meticulous and ensuring alignment to detailed process with relevant updates all through the process. The service from all the staff was excellent and always proactive in ensuring things move in the right direction updating with progress as relevant. How should I start this review on my letting agents Mrs. Abi Miles and Mr. Hamid Lone my two brilliant letting agents that I had pleasure to be with them over three years now.My property was rented out 3 years ago and I had the same tenants lived there for 3 years. Altough I expected my managing company to get an increase on the rent every year by a reasnable %, but it did not happened. I eventally turned to my renting agents Mrs. Abi Miles. She immidiately suggested to have an increase of 15% for a new tenant. Her suggestion made my day.Mrs Abi Miles was incredible and very much understanding of my case, so I want to take this apportunity once more to thank Mrs. Abi and Mr. Hamid for thier hard work wishing them the best of luck in the business for years to come.

Thoroughly recommend Wards and Kim Batchelor

I can’t recommend and thank Kim Batchelor and the rest of the team for their professionalism throughout our house sale. We sold our house during the first lockdown and out of the 6 properties in the chain the only person that did any work to get the chain progressed was Kim, she worked tirelessly to get our property sold. Had it not of been for Kim the chain would have collapsed and we would have lost our forever house.

Started my house buying process with Rhys Owen, he showed me around various properties was very friendly and knowledgeable on the properties I viewed! The house I am buying Rhys actually gave me a fantastic idea to knock down the partition wall between the bathroom and the dressing room to extend the bathroom out, a fantastic idea which when we are home owners we will carry out! He recommended Martin tolhurst solicitors as I was very unsure on the whole process!
