If you have a property to rent, i would tread very carefully with PS. Our rental reports were all very short with little detail or photos (one of them was just 4 words long). Our rental became a wreck, with obvious signs the tenants weren't looking after it missed (most of a fence system removed but never mentioned, outside doors left open to rust, rat damage to floorboards, urine smells ). Complaint procedure not helpful (an inhouse system so could question its neutrality) and now a fight to get any sort of compensation. Worst of it was, at no point in all of it was a simple 'we're sorry' or apology given. We paid for a fully managed service but it felt like the opposite. My advice, Avoid

If you have a property to rent

If you have a property to rent and are looking which letting agent to use- AVOID Palmer Snell. We have just got (what's left) of our property after being rented for over 2 years with Palmer Snell. In that time they let the property degrade to an extent that the deposit will go nowhere near to fix the damage. 4 inspection reports were done - all very brief (4 words for one of them!). Very few photos and none addressing the big issues. In the 1st 6 months most of the garden panels were destroyed and removed by the tenants. This was never picked up on (even with the lone fence post in the middle of the garden being quite a big clue). rats had got in but the major floor damage *and urine smell) was not picked up on. If you have a property to rent, ignore all the lovely words Palmer Snell will say about what they will do and go with, ideally, a local letting agency.
