Continuously hassled even after asking multiple times not to be

The estate agent that came to value my property needed more customer experience. He asked very intrusive questions, was rude about other estate agents valuations, was very pushy and I felt I had to be firm when I said I am only wanting a second opinion, not for them to market my property. I asked not to be contacted by them and I would be in touch if I needed their services. In the weeks following, the decision was made for me not to use them as I was contacted via telephone at least twice a week, pushing me to put it on the market with them when all I’d asked for is a valuation. When I asked multiple times to be taken off their contact list, the message clearly didn’t get through as I was contacted a further three times after this. No voicemails were left - just missed calls from an unknown number.

⁷I would give 0 if I could. Terrible experience with fox&sons London Road Brighton. We had our house advertised with them for bearly 6 months. We had 3 viewings & 10 cancellations, however, when you looked, they claimed we had 13 viewing. Our biggest mistake was to go with them. Totally unprofessional photos. We changed the agent and within a week we had 4 viewing & one offer!! Additionally, when we left this agent, they carried on advertising our house without our permission with a new price!! Dispute both written & verbal communications! Totally unprofessional. We should have read the reviews and avoided them at all cost!! So far we have had 2 offers and might have the final offer soon.

Brilliant!!! After having a bad experience with another estate agents when I first moved out from my parents. I had my guard up when I first approached Fox and sons. As soon as I contacted Fox and Sons I dropped my guard. Bethany was amazing from the start. She was very kind and professional. She was more than willing to answer any questions that me and my now roommate had. Everything was organised, and I felt the whole move in process was so smooth with no stress. Awful mortgage advising service

Booked an appointment with one of their mortgage advisers, a lot of info i did not need to know that the company has x branches and have done x money on mortgages, just to be cancel on the second appointment. Got back to me after 4months saying he would help me that time, after a couple exchanges no more correspondence ive no idea whats going on. Meanwhile was contacted by another mortgage adviser she said to give her a change she’s different from her colleague. First appointment same things, second appointment a no show. Whats wrong with you people? Unbelievable. At least have the decency to cancel the appointment, i got out of work for the appointment waited 1h, even emailed and nothing.

Having had a really dreadful experience with our previous letting agent we were awfully concerned about who to try next. Gosport Fox & Son - bad experience

Gosport. Pushy agents who will get a sale at any price including coming to your property without notice, walking through the grounds to the back door and scaring you to get you to accept a lower offer. I wish we hadn't been tricked into going with them as they offered success via a " boxing day" campaign and their "extensive" data based. Both yield nothing but low offers.

Do not use this Eastbourne Estate Agent

We feel our property was overpriced, which led to reduction after reduction in sale price. Did not respond to phone calls, or said things would be done that weren`t. To us the agents came across as arrogant, starting from not explaining the length of initial contract, right through to poor viewings both in numbers and quality of details given to possible buyers. Things were delayed because information was not passed through, and quite often was inaccurate. Very poor value for money. Instructed around the end of July 2022, completed 30th March 2023, pushed into a very short time between exchange and completion because of misinformation, and into a large reduction on our sale price.

Ellie has very kindly welcomed me in her Weymouth office when I was looking for a one-bedroom or studio apartment. She has promptly showed one what they had available and explained all the details. She then liaised with her colleague Beth to arrange a viewing for the following day, as I was in Weymouth only for two days. Beth then contacted the landlord to get the keys for the following day. On the day of the viewing, she has arrived on time and showed me the studio flat, explaining everything. I said I would like to make an offer, and she acted very professionally and stated that she will do her best. That afternoon she has contacted me with the news that my offer was accepted. I can highly recommend, both Ellie and Beth, as excellent letting agents, due to their diligence, professionalism and kindness. Thank you, Robert.
