Over a difficult 9 months during which the house we wished to purchase collapsed, due to the chain breaking twice we were supported by the experienced and professional advice of our Seymour’s Client Relationship Manager - Amy Sandys. The promptness of her responses and information supplied helped my wife and I weather our move thorough difficult times.
Thanks James. Sales transactions seem to be taking longer and longer which is why we now have dedicated client relationship managers such as Amy on hand. Don't know what we'd do without her! Pleased it's all gone well and maybe we'll see you again in the future, however long that maybe. Keep well.

Absolutely awful experience - avoid at all costs.
Rob, thank you for your review. We are truly sorry for the experience you’ve had. We can see that we let you down at several points, and we want to acknowledge that openly. The way your sale and potential purchase were handled lacked the clear communication, urgency, and care that you should have received. As a rule our clients should always be prioritised, and in this instance that didn’t happen. The disappointment of not securing the home you expected understandably left a lasting impact, and we recognise that this is at the root of your frustration. The delay in removing your property and sales board only compounded matters, and for that we hold our hands up completely. We’ve been helping people move in this area for over 30 years, and during that time we’ve always believed that our role goes far beyond just selling houses. We live and work in these neighbourhoods ourselves, and we feel a deep responsibility to the people who trust us. Being part of the fabric of the local community means being straight, being accountable, and putting people first. In your case, we fell short of that, and we are genuinely sorry. We've used Seymours Horsell for 5 transactions now over several years; as well as all the searching in between. It always feels as though they actually enjoy their jobs and that shines through. They're passionate, knowledgeable and helpful. We wouldn't consider using anyone else - although hopefully we're done moving house now!
What lovely comments Nick. We really do enjoy the job but we also enjoy the Horsell neighborhood and all of its people, it feels like an extended family to us and we love to be a part of its success. GoogleThe whole team were fantastic throughout our sale. All estate agents are friendly before you agree to go with them but Seymours were just as friendly and approachable after which made the whole process much easier. We would get regular updates and if we happened to phone and leave a message they will always get back to you same day. We will recommend them 100% to anyone looking to sell in Dorking.

You couldn't dream up a more incompetent, rude and unprofessional company if you tried. They have absolutely no clue on the market place and pricing, the appear to be trained in providing the post passive aggressive and abusive service they can muster and lack any levels of service and professionalism.

GoogleCouldn't recommend highly enough! A difficult chain that didn't seem to be communicating too well, and was was held together by David who went above and beyond and made it happen. Should I feel the need to sell a house again in the area I wouldn't hesitate. Seymours it will be!

GoogleMy mother in law needed help buying a property and a close friend of mine recommended using Seymours Dorking. It was a brilliant referral. All the team were amazingly helpful, quick, open, trustworthy and above all, professional. They found my mother in law a perfect house, got it over the line very quickly and with no headaches or heart ache. Then, for unforeseen reasons, my mother in law could not move in, we needed to rent the property out to cover costs. Once again the team were all of the above, also organised all building work and services needed plus organised all legal and insurance services needed to make the house ready for tenements. GoogleWe recently sold our property in Dorking with Seymours and I can't praise them highly enough. David's team all came to do a home visit to make sure they knew the answers to every question potential buyers might ask. This friendly and professional approach helped us get three offers in the first two weeks. Having accepted one of the offers, David dealt with the other agents and lawyers in the chain, which took all the stress out of our move. If you've had no luck selling your house with another agent, or if you're considering putting a property on the market for the first time, I strongly recommend calling Seymours in Dorking.

GoogleGo with Seymours you won't regret it! From the first meeting I knew they were the agents for me. They approached my sale with enthusiasm and a professionalism that carried right the way through. Every member of the team came to view the house so they could talk knowledgeably about the property to potential buyers. Nothing has been too much trouble and if they thought we could present the house better for sale they suggested it and were proved right. GoogleOur house move could not have happened if it wasn’t for Jamie at Seymours. He went above and beyond what could be expected to get the deal over the line. His willingness to liaise with conveyancers at both ends of the chain was a key factor in exchanging contracts in what was quite a difficult process. His emails and phone calls were always reassuring, even if the news wasn’t the best. We really can’t thank him enough.
