It was a somewhat unusual surprise for the agent, Andy, in this case, to keep us informed of progress on a very regular basis and challenges faced with regard to others in the chain rather than leave it to the lawyer which in my experience happens all too frequently.
Couldn't agree more. Often the sale progression aspect is left to its own devices but this is where all the issues occur. We've learned over the last 30 years, that we as agents need to be heavily involved in the solicitor's side of things. The solicitors definitely appreciate it, but not as much as the buyers and sellers!

GoogleI cannot rate Seymours Dorking highly enough. From valuation to completion, the whole team worked really hard to sell my house. They kept me informed as to what was happening at all times, ringing me after office hours sometimes to update me. I really felt they actively 'sold' my house, rather than just putting it on Rightmove. The whole team are so friendly and helpful and a delight to work with. Totally recommend them.

I've bought the last 2 properties I've lived in through Seymours and would again. The team is lovely, they worked tirelessly to find exactly the right place for my family, and their advice was always pragmatic. They were brilliant through the purchase process too.

Great communication from the outset. Candid about market values, not trying to set overly ambitious and unrealistic prices. The follow up with a dedicated case manager has been very useful as well. Selling a house is fraught with complications but the ongoing communication throughout the process has made this process much easier.
Selling a house needn't be as stressful as some people may think, just needs a little forward planning and a whole heap of hands-on experience. Great to hear Phil & thanks for the review.

The journey with Seymours from start to finish was unprofessional. Giving misleading information all way through. Queries not answered or handled by different people, causing constant chasing ups and stress. The final rent miscommunicated as it was incorrectly recorded on their system. A total mess! There are better letting agencies out there.
