GoogleWe have rented a property with them for almost two years now and so far they have been a very serious letting agency. Very fast in sorting out things when we had problems like shower problems or the bushes in front of the house that the council wouldn’t cut down. The renting process was easy and they made everything ready on time. I really liked that the inventory was very detailed and nothing was left out. So far pleased with this agency.

allAgents"Belvoir Doncaster: a fate..."
If I could change one thing in my life it would be to have never come in contact with Belvoir Doncaster. While renting a property from them they dragged their feet on every issue we had with the property. For a grand total of 7 months we were without a working shower or one of the toilets in the property. Upon trying to book a cleaner prior to checkout, they did absolutely nothing to assist having agreed to help. Only days before we finally were due to check out did they tell us that they couldn't find anyone and that either we'd have to find someone or it'd come out of our bond. An impossible task. Displeased with the service, I asked numerous times over the course of 6 months to raise a formal complaint and to have contact with a manager. Every occasion was met with radio silence and empty promises. To this day they are yet to open an avenue, down which I can lodge a formal complaint.

GoogleMy wife and I recently moved to Auckley and we have rented our property through Belvoir Property Management. This is an edited version of our original review. Belvoir are utter crooks, they have forced us out of our home because we argued with them about repairs etc. We challenged them assertively and several times over repairs etc. Their response was to refuse said repairs, increase the rent and after we handed our notice in. They submitted a long list of financial demands for repairs, damage and compensation. We left the property in an excellent, if not better condition (in several areas) .This caused so much physical & emotional stress, that finally now we have moved and our last email sent to the dispute resolution services of the DPS - Deposit Protection Scheme, we are rid of Belvoir. AVOID OR DEAL WITH THEM CAREFULLY AND READ EVERY LINE OF THEIR EXTENSIVE TENANCY AGREEMENTS.
7th August 2023 - The DPS has awarded the FULL AMOUNT of the Deposit TO THE LANDLORD. Property inspections found that Francis Lee had carried out many alterations to the property. The exterior brickwork was damaged by drilling and fixing various signs and electrical fittings. A new EICR was completed; dangerous wiring & fittings had been added to the garage and other electrical circuits; these have been removed & replaced by a NICEIC contractor. silk or gloss paint was used by the Tenants to patch repairs to damaged areas of matt internal paintwork. A large amount of rubble had to be removed from the garden. The independent inventory that was carried out before the tenants moved in along with the checkout process, & invoices for work carried out, clearly show Mr Lees comments to be false. GoogleChris Duffy the office manager is disgusting in the way he talks to people and refused to deal with an emergency where the property wasn't secure. This is the 3rd time Chris has been rude and unprofessional on the phone. The ladies in the office are very helpful and make this business.NegativeProfessionalism
Friday 5.6.2020 @ 10.20am, Kathrine Mannion reported a Patio door that would not close. I spoke to the Landlord at 10.30am. Our contractor visited the property at lunchtime the same day. The contractor closed the door. The Landlady has given permission to proceed and a part is on order to repair the patio door sliding mechanism, a cost of around £70 - £80; it will be fitted in the next few days as soon as the part comes in. Kathrine Mannion asked the contractor if he could quote for a new door. Kathrine Mannion is a very confrontational character and uses very abusive language …“F” off etc. Kathrine Mannion has refused in the past to put requests to alter the property in relation to changes to decoration or major changes to the garden, in writing to us (email or letter). The Landlady asked that Belvoir made this clause in the tenancy agreement clear to the tenants. Kathrine Mannion has stated that it is their home and she will make any alterations she wants to. GoogleWe have used Chris at Belvoir for 10 years to manage our rental property. Unfortunately the quality of the service has deteriorated significantly with multiple occasions of having to repeatedly call and email over many weeks to get a reply. Alicia and other staff who have worked there have all been as helpful as they can. Unfortunately Chris seems to restrict how much they can do, is very poor at communicating and keeping the customer in the loop and when he finally replies many weeks later, he gives the usual excuse that he’s been very busy and apologises yet again. The whole service and experience over the last few years has extremely disappointing and incredibly stressful when we having been paying for their service for 10 years now. Even now as we are trying to move to a different management agent, we are still waiting for a reply to our calls and emails after 2 weeks. I wouldn’t recommend Chris’s management service to anyone. I have given too many opportunities due our loyalty for such a long service and hoping it would improve. Even an official complaint didn’t make any difference. Please think carefully about using Chris if you are a landlord.

Wanted to rent property from Belvoir , moving from London area I wasn't taken seriously by the business owner. My viewing was changed 3 times in 24 hours and at the end I got message at 2am that my viewing was cancelled due to Covid-19. I was told to call at 10am .When I called the Manager was doing viewing with other people !!!? Im very disappointed as I was keept waiting for one week to do viewing and at the end I got cancelled for not obvious reasons. Maybe the reason was that I wasn't suitable because I want to move from London?!! I do not understand how people can do something like that and waste other people time !!
