Lesley the sales person is always friendly, polite, welcoming and helpful, she guided us through the available choices and was supportive throughout. She communicated clearly and effectively with us so that we always new what actions we needed to take and how the build of our new home was progressing. Once we received the keys the onsite team were very good at sorting out a few of the initial problems. Lesley always stops for a chat when she is out and about on the development and always asks if everything is ok. 5 stars for her customer service.

The adviser answered most of our questions and was really helpful.Would like more information on the planned bus service for the estate and whether it will be operational at weekends and later in the evening than the park n ride currently runs. Its a massive plus to buying a property in this area knowing that there will be a regular bus running 7 days a week until late,otherwise it feels a bit isolated and you're a bit stuck.

We had an extremely warm welcome from Julie at the Wilbur Chase development marketing suite. She was very knowledgeable, and gave us a lot of very useful accurate, information in a very professional way. She took the time and trouble to show us around the site and gave us a guided tour of all the available properties. She referred us to the website which contained the most up to date information on the development, and before we had returned home, she emailed us with a resume of our visit and a short precis on each of the houses we discussed. We have all the information we need to make a decision on our future.

Just want to start off by saying that our experience with the Sunderland team has been fantastic. We decided to buy a property on the wellington park site just over a month ago and the service for the turn around has been exceptional especially at this time of year so close to Christmas. I would just like to mention that Louise and Rebecca have gone above and beyond to help us through this sale and to get it turned around in such a short space of time with always being contactable keeping us in the loop with the whole process. This is the first time we have bought a new build and can honestly say I would recommend. Not only have they helped with the sale and paper work they have been very understanding of our situation and made everything that little bit easier going above and beyond to get it all completed. They gave us time to view and attend the property when ever we needed for measurements and visits and made sure we had a walk around with the on site manager to discuss the house to its entirety. They both have worked so hard to find us our dream home and I highly recommend them. They truly are a hard working team. Thank you so much.

We turned up with no appointment but she went above and beyond to talk through what was available and even managed to get us back for an appointment to show us inside a home the same day. She explained everything so clearly and reassured us when we were having a bad day after making a life changing decision. She found us the perfect plot for us and our needs. We’ve been waiting for 19 months so far now for our property in Leeds after deposit but still not yet ready and was informed by email today that it has to be delayed again until next year by using different excuses so far since last year. We can’t believe that a big developer as Avent Homes is such unreliable and providing such a poor service to their customers. Very disappointing!!!Follow up: They contacted us to explain again on the next day after our comment on Trustpilot but still haven’t received any confirmation of completion. We were told now that they will see if they can solve the problem as soon as possible but not promising and requested if we can delete the comment here.

We have just completed with Avant and are in our new home which we completely love. Throughout the process Jane, our sales advisor, has been fantastic. She’s kept us updated with weekly build progress reports that we always looked forward to and made sure we had always the information we needed, helping us through the buying process. She has been there for us every step of the way to answer our questions (as confused first time buyers), even going the extra mile to help us decide if we could fit the sofa we wanted in our new home!We had our demonstration with Andy, the site manager, who was very knowledgeable and showed our house was built to an incredible standard. There have been some small snags we noted as we moved in (as is the case with every new build) but Andy and the site team sort them straight away and are making us feel very looked after and in safe hands.The whole team are lovely to chat to and are really making us feel welcome in our new home. We’re really pleased we went with Avant.

House I purchase back in 2018 was cold and after 5 years of fighting them with evidence of thermal image report from accreditation technical Manager both avant homes and NHBC have refused to acknowledge the serious structure of the property. How pathetic of them having their own technical person with a credit card to show the cause of the cold draft coming through windows where I was fully informed there airflow issues where they haven’t met the building regulations, I am now going down the legal route after real evidence clearly shows the seriousness or the lack of work done I have avant homes laughed at my face via email and told me any legal representative to send correspondence through to HO. The directors Jeff Fairburn, Mark Mitchell have ignored my plea. . Total greed!!!!

If I could have put 0 stars I would. Absolutely horrific company to buy from and deal with. They don't communicate at all. They finished the build 7 months late but only answered the phone to us the day before we were meant to move in 4 times to tell us "it won't be tomorrow" 2 years later and we're STILL trying to get snags sorted that were reported the week we moved in. We have had water issues comi g out of our ears! The only thing that held water when we first moved in was the dog bowl! Mould all over, loft.. still drenched all the time! Wooden floors we had put down... Destroyed at our cost! They wipe their hands as soon as money is exchanged. Sewage backing up in toilets. Extractor vents duck taped on .. yes tape.. this is just a few issues.. the list is endless. Gardens are just as bad. Like a swamp is the easiest description... You also have to fight to get your deposit back! My only advise is don't do it. It ruined our whole experience of buying our first house together.... What was meant to be a lovely new home for a young couple... Feels like a prison.. run for the hills and get your deposit back whilst you still can!

Horrendous! They try and wriggle out of doing absolutely anything! Rusty radiator all across the bottom, they can’t conclude that we haven’t damaged it, are they for real? How can we damage an already hung radiator that we haven’t touched! Absolute jokers, useless customer service! Poor quality, issue after issue and they are not interested in helping! The appointments that are made to rectify are hardly ever adhered to, they don’t turn or are late if they do turn up! The directors couldn’t care less either and just fob you off! Someone should be make them accountable for the horrendous quality and appalling customer service!

My experience with Avant homes has been excellent. From first purchasing my plot to moving in. The after sales has also been very good. The site managers Dean and Luke are always helpful and professional. Jordan on site is also very good and helpful. Georgia the sales assistant is on the ball with everything and nothing is too much trouble for her. I would definitely recommend Avant Homes!
