GoogleI was recommended to sell my property through Southgate Estates by a friend of mine who was actually a competitor, but had since moved out of the area and mentioned how good they were to work with in a chain. They completed the sale of my property and were able to achieve £50 above the asking price. I attribute this to a number of factors: 1. They marketed the property at a realistic price and in line with market expectations. They did not propose an unrealistically high price to win the instruction. 2. They are extremely accurate in everything they do. The advert for my property was 100% correct and their marketing is very attractive and modern. 3. They are honest, really hard working and likeable. They do not use pushy sales tactics and work closely with their vendors and (presumably) buyers too. 4. They want to sell your property. They do not repel buyers by attempting to railroad you into using their Mortgage Adviser or a conveyancing partner. Some of their competitors attempt to get you into their office to meet their Mortgage Adviser to be 'financially qualified' (listen to their sales pitch, which the agent will clearly get paid commission on) prior to viewing the property, and even prevent you from viewing if you decline. I know this from personal experience! 5. They have someone specifically designated to work with the vendor and buyer after the sale is agreed and prior to exchange. This means that both parties are constantly updated and the risk of it falling through is dramatically reduced. I would highly recommend selling a property through Southgate Estates and if the right property came up, I would certainly buy through them too.

GooglePolite agent turned up on time and was most helpful. He didn’t reveal anything about offers made by others which was admirable.
Thank you so much for this lovely feedback.

FacebookI will always be grateful to Southgate Estates for handling the sale of my unique family home (for 4 decades) with integrity and friendly professionalism. All aspects of the sale were handled well and I always felt that I could ask them anything and get an honest reply. When it came to our onwards purchase, Kate and Ryan did all they could to make it work. I would recommend them to anyone.
