Nagilla was fantastic in the after sales team - regularly week calls for updates to keep us in the loop and also if we have questions. Steven was really good at explaining both properties we viewed and we especially loved that he wasn't pushy, as some agents can be. When we weren't certain on either property, he was very inquisitive and asked us our preferences so he could keep an eye out for anything else we'd like. Overall, it was a really good viewing experience!

Avoid at all costs, Minors and Brady are the most dishonest and untrustworthy company I have ever come across. Selling our house through them and the list of issues is endless, here are some highlights;1. Lost our house keys and didn’t tell us for almost two weeks. Acted like this was no big deal, and just offered to get a new key cut. They did replace the locks but only when we insisted on this. A huge security issue and when questioned about the procedure for keeping keys safe it was made clear they do not have one.2. House was continually left unlocked after viewings, often for the whole day until we returned from work in the evening. Again they acted like this wasn’t an issue as “there was no break in reported”. 3. Made additional copies of our keys without our knowledge or consent. When we questioned why the copies had been made they could not / would not give us a reason why. If it was for a honest reason I’m sure they would have just told us. We had to get our locks changed AGAIN this time at our own expense. 4. On two separate occasions they reduced the asking price of our house without our permission. The first we knew of it was when we saw the change on Rightmove! They changed it back as soon as we requested but it should never have happened in the first place. 5. They arranged a meeting between our buyer and their mortgage advisor to take place at our house, without our knowledge. Just turned up on the doorstep and seemed very offended when we would not let them use our house as a meeting space. 6. Items in our house were damaged and moved. Whilst this could have been cause by a client viewing it, it is the agent’s responsibility to ensure this does not happen. 7. Communication throughout has been absolutely dire and we are either told bare face lies or they just flat out refuse to answer our questions. Jamie Minors, the owner, would not even discuss the issues with me, clearly they can’t even come up with an excuse for their unprofessionalism. 8. Funny how they continually pressured us to reduce, and then when we took the house off the market we suddenly got an offer from someone who had never even viewed the house but happened to be friends with staff at Minors & Brady, what a strange coincidence. 9. One of their agents visited our property without our knowledge when we weren’t there and was looking in the windows and entered the garden. We then received a very strange phone call from them where they admitted to being there. This was 6 months after we had stopped viewings with them and they no longer had a key or any reason to be there. When questioned why they were there, they refused to answer.We are currently taking legal advice and speaking with the property ombudsman regarding an even more serious issue than the above but have been advised not to publicly discuss this matter whilst taking legal action.Jamie, I would love to discuss these issues with you, as I have been trying to for several months now, but you are obviously unable to have a mature and professional conversation.

GoogleWe were initially impressed, they said all the right things and the sales team in the Dereham branch found someone to offer on our home within 4 days. However, after accepting an offer we became irrelevant and unimportant. They allowed the sale to “progress” for 8 weeks- without ensuring the buyer made any actual progress and resulting in us being back to square one 2 months after putting an offer in on a property ourselves. They insisted we would be a priority and that they would do everything they could to get us a sale and progress so we wouldn’t lose the house we had put an offer on. Once again they quickly found another buyer but, this has definitely not been the case. Minors and Brady claim to have been proactive as they have made sure they’re “always speaking with the solicitors and buyers for anything that you might request”- failing to see that this is not proactive and not our job to chase them. Most worryingly, they gave out my key to a surveyor without my permission, or at the very least notifying me. The surveyor was told it was a vacant property despite being my family home. It was luckily inhabited that day- or my dog may well have got out onto the road. When I called to ask how on earth this had been allowed to happen- nobody even seemed to know that someone had collected our key for a survey and they really were not bothered. They had no record of them calling to book in the survey and clearly no knowledge of it having happened- just one of the many times we have had to inform them of things happening. If we hadn’t already found a buyer I would have terminated my contract then. Our sale has now fallen through again, due to buyers own personal circumstances. They’ve asked us several times to avoid communicating, or outright lie, to others in the chain so to avoid them knowing our position. So, I finally wished to end the contract after there being so many ways they had failed us. They appeared to ignore the sections of my email giving notice of termination of contract- only responding to other parts, warning me that if I listed with anyone else without giving notice I would be liable to pay both fees. I had given notice. Twice. It took 5 days for them to acknowledge the notice had been given. 6 days to remove the property from online. And nearly 2 weeks later their sign is still outside my property. The irony in it all is that it has taken countless emails and phone calls to try and get an explanation/response to my complaints about the lack of communication from them, despite the fact they have insisted they have been communicative with us. A manager requested to have a telephone conversation with me regarding my complaints- called at nearly 5pm the following day, telling me that she didn’t know our case and that she hadn’t read the file so couldn’t comment. Everything is a matter of delaying and shunting responsibility. I’m yet to hear how my keys being released with no record was “handled in branch”. Appalled but not surprised as we have never been a priority. Although, not having been sent the complaints procedures (which state within them that they should have sent me), I await their response to my complaints. However, I’m not really expecting any resolve to the situation from them, without having to take it further, at this point. Moving is a stressful enough event, I did not need this added to it and so would definitely not recommend.

She has kept us up to date with proceedings on a weekly basis. She is a real credit to the company and if for any reason we need to sell in the future, we’ll have no qualms in using Minors & Brady. GoogleI have had a great, hassle free experience buying my first property through Minors and Brady. A big thank you to Scott in sales progression who would contact me regularly with updates and was constantly checking in with both mine and the vendors solicitors (completely unprompted). My parents house sale was also being progressed through a different estate agents and they were often complaining about how they couldn’t get a call back/ email back from their sales progression. In contrast, my calls and emails were always replied to really quickly. Scott always conducts himself in a friendly and professional manner even when he was understandably exceedingly busy towards the end of the stamp duty holiday. Even though I was probably one of the smaller clients on their base and exempt from the stamp duty holiday timescales, I was still updated throughout this time frame and not forgotten about. I wouldn’t hesitate to use minors and Brady when I come to sell in the futurePositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

All communication was prompt, professional and courteous from the entire team. Our Aftersales experience with Cass was exceptional and she worked extremely hard to secure completion for us before the stamp duty holiday ended. On arrival to collect our keys we were presented with a bottle of wine, a company key ring and we also received a welcome card to our new home. All gestures were very much appreciated after a very long purchase process. We would certainly highly recommend Minors & Brady and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again although I’d like to think we won’t be moving for quite some time!!!PositiveProfessionalism
