This company are a joke !!

This company are a joke !!! Arranged a viewing for an property no issue as you’d expect, also was made aware that to let this property you’d need to be in full time work and earning 25k plus a year, again no problem as I tick both boxes, turned up to the viewing to a man in his “basically” PJs which instantly told me what I was about to experience... anyway as we enter and stand waiting 3/6 flats are playing extremely loud music, and clearly as it’s a Monday midday the chances of them being employed as requested was very low, RED FLAGS for me here, we enter the property to a tenet washing his pots and going about his day. Again this is shocking and doesn’t allow viewers the peace and space they need to view as they feel uncomfortable, the flat was also disgusting, he was unemployed and clearly not earning the required 25k, when asked if the property would be renovated or at min fully decorated and re carpet we was told probably not lol

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs. My flat was filthy and items on the inventory were either missing or broken. The customer service is shocking and they constantly lie to you! The oven did not work but they said I didn't need it as I had a hob. A window would not close, a big security risk, but they said the previous tenant lived it and so it was fine. They also said as it was a third floor flat it could not be repaired. The flat is on the first floor and they told me I was wrong! Apparently six weeks was not long enough for their 'professional cleaners' to do a thorough clean. The flat was filthy from top to bottom and yet it had passed their inventory inspection. I could go on with a long list of problems including a sofa and coffee table with missing legs and blinds that were stated on the listing as 'grey' but actually white once cleaned. I am not going to give this company anymore of my time or energy. They are utterly incompetent and do not care about their tenants!

Platinum estate lettings are big scam telling you to pay a non refundable holding deposit of £400. Very unprofessional agent,they were not present on the the day of the viewing,pictures posted online different from the present state of the property. Don't deal with them.

If I could give this review a star less than 0 I would

If I could give this review a star lower than 0 I would. Do not chose platinum estates unless you would like to be completely ripped off, treated like the faeces on their shoe, ignored to high heavens and have your money with held. They don’t respond to any concerns, to any emails, they never ring you back when you need to report something or have something fixed. Instead they completely rip you off and threaten you. They allowed new tenants to move into our property (which is fine of course because we were vacating) they took the new tenants deposit and rent and still charged us a full months rent. So we basically paid for other people to live in the house we were still legally renting. We still haven’t had a refund yet of the week that new tenants moved in. Avoid avoid avoid avoid. I mean this very sincerely, as the stress of dealing with these completely ignorant people has been overwhelming. I can’t wait to be done with them once we receive our refund. If we ever do. If you don’t believe anything you read online, please believe me when I say, be careful if you have to chose this agency but if you have a choice, avoid avoid avoid!!

First Class Service

I brought a new build property in Mickleover and rented it straight out with Platinum Estates. They looked after all aspects of the property and the requests of the tennant which left me with peace of mind. A year later I moved into the property and it was handed back to me in the exact same state that I had given it, which is an outstanding achievement considering I gave them a brand new house with no previous residents. Overall Im very pleased with the personal service recieved.

My experience

I contacted Platinum Estates after a friend of mine had recommended them for property management services. I was booked in for a convenient rental valuation immediately by the helpful office staff. As I had not let a property before , the agent talked me through the process and services they provide and gave a no pressure approach. After agreeing to use their services my property was let within 2 days and tenants moved in within a week after being fully referenced. They have always kept me up to date with the property prior and post let. I would highly recommend Platinum Estates for property let and full management.

Very bad experience

Terrible company. Regularly had to chase them for my payments and they did not handle disputes with tenants very well at all. Their bad administration allowed the tenants deposit to be put in an unregulated account which resulted in me being fined. An action for which they avoided responsibility leaving me with the bill. I would never trust them to handle my business interests again.
