Poor customer service and very unprofessional. Our experience with Leaders Derby has been nothing but terrible from when we started renting a property up until we moved. All the staff that we have dealt with whether via telephone or in person has been incompetent and unprofessional. You have to ring up and chase them dozens of times for a query whether its viewing a property, getting the documents across, getting the keys for the property, and up until having your deposit returned back to you. One of the worst thing about them is they don't have a proper system of sharing information, so whenever you ring up to ask about a concern or chase something up the person at the end of the line always doesn't know what to do and how to help. To make matters worse, we have encountered a lot of their staff that are unprofessional and just plain rude when they deal with you on the telephone. It seems like their staff need to go on trainings for providing positive customer service and professionalism. Mind you, our experiences are not isolated events but a consistent disappointment. So I strongly suggest for their management to send their staff for training or just hire better staff. Your staff taints your name and image. On top of it all, Leaders charge an extortionate amount for fees (more than other estate agents) when they dont even provide quality services. To anyone who has read this lengthy review, if you are looking to rent or buy a property managed by Leaders then I suggest you better think twice. We have been using Leaders for around 18 months and I have the say they astound me every time I deal which them. They just do not know what they are doing and this comes from the Management team down to the staff. I actually feel sorry for the property management team that look after Derby because when even their own manager cannot look after a property how are they supposed to. They are all very polite and pleasant on the phone, but have no organisational skills. My property hasn't been inspected by them for over 9 months even though this should be done every 6 yet it took me to ask why it hadn't been done. Not sure what I have paid them to do???
