GoogleVery unfortunate that I have to share a bad experience with this company, especially as I had such high expectations… Poor customer service and internal planning! Rung a week ahead of time to book a property viewing, but received no email confirmation. This meant the planned viewing did not take place, thankfully after chasing up via the phone, they rearranged for a different time the same day, to which we confirmed our attendance for. Upon arrival, the estate agent was nowhere to be found, and after waiting for 15 minutes outside, I again called the company. I was then informed that the estate agent did not have keys to access the property at all, as the current tenant was not present, and that the viewing was to be cancelled 15 minutes after the arranged start time… I understand that these things can happen but it is extremely frustrating as I booked time off work, was in direct contact with John Shepard at multiple points throughout the day, and that the was the viewing was cancelled as I was stood outside the property waiting for the estate agent (not to mention this was quarter of an hour after the agreed time). And I was offered no alternative viewing time, very disappointed and frustrated. Huge shame - John Shepherd appears to have lovely properties available but I cannot risk booking time off work to have my time wasted, and I am now extremely reluctant to book any further viewing as I have good reason to believe they will be cancelled as I am stood looking at the front door!

A young man from John Sheperd Estates called Kelvin Zakeyo was so helpful and kind over the phone. Such a lovely chap who really cares about the customer and goes out of his way to help that person . He has Amazing qualities which shine through . One of the nicest people ever. He is an absolute gem and asset to his profession . Couldn't ask for better .

Very quick and smooth experience getting my tenancy through John Shepard. Replied very quickly in order to sort the application especially with a fairly tight move in date, we managed to get everything sorted without issue and comfortably for a quick move in. Catie in particular was very helpful throughout. Very happy new tenant.

A couple of weeks ago, I had a terrible experience with a letting agent while trying to move into a new flat, even forfeiting my holding deposit due to unnecessary, deceitful and ridiculous process. However, when I came across John Shepherd, they were incredibly helpful in finding me a new place. I didn’t have to wait forever for a viewing, as they arranged appointments as quickly as possible. Within a week, everything was sorted, the letting process was quick, efficient, and professional. I’d especially like to thank Faith and Paula for their support! I would recommend John Shepherd anytime, any day.
