This review is to highlight the very poor service offered by Haarts Estate Agents Derby. To start with they adopt a very pressurised sales tactic almost forcing you into signing their agreement without giving you space to evaluate their services. They are twice as expensive as most other agents and they justify this with an explanation that they have bespoke marketing campaigns. From my experience this is complete and utter rubbish. When I complained to the branch manager that I wasn't happy he assured me that they would justify their exuberant costs throughout the conveyance process. They allocated me an account manager who was supposed to be with me until completion. Well at around one week prior to this happening my said account manager disappeared I tried to email but got delivery email failure obviously he had been either dismissed or made redundant. I tried many times to call the branch number but the phone was never answered. I was simply left to deal with the sale myself. It only happened because I had an amazing solicitor and knew the buyer personally. Haarts were no where to be seen and at no time did they make contact with me to explain where my account manager had gone. It was much to my dismay when my solicitor contacted me after completion to say someone at Haarts had called her to ask when the sale was going to complete to which the response was..if you had done your job properly you would have known that the sale went through a few days prior! This time was extremely stressful and Haarts did not in anyway measure up to their initial promises at all. I sent a complaint into the SpicerHaart Group and whilst they say they investigated my complaint their response to me was as I am sure you can imagine full of excuses justifying why they think not having the support from your allocated account manager at a most critical stage and that said account manager can disappear without any communication from the estate agent to their customer is acceptable!!! This message is to appeal to anyone thinking of asking Haarts to support their sale to seriously rethink based on my personal view their charges are simply not worth even considering and please do not be taken in by their sales pitch that they offer something different. THIS IS SO NOT THE CASE, THEIR SERVICE IS ADEQUATE AT BEST AND DISGRACEFUL AT WORST and definitely does not justify their charges. They don't care about their customers and if you complain you get a load of excuses. They even threatened to charge me interest because I had delayed payment of their final invoice because I was so unhappy!!! PLEASE THINK VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING INTO ANY AGREEMENT WITH THIS COMPANY

We are currently using Haart for the sale of new build property and have been really pleased with the service we have received. They quickly helped us find a buyer, where we had struggled with a previous agent. We dealt with Oliver initially who has shown to be very knowledgeable. After finding our buyer, Joseph has been supporting us in getting our sale completed. He has been very proactive and regularly gives us updates, which are really appreciated. His support has been invaluable in assisting with a couple of ongoing solicitor challenges. We have dealt with a number of estate agents recently, on both a business and a personal basis and I would say that Haart are easily head and shoulders above the others we have used. We would highly recommend!

I’ve been dealing with Emily at Haart and hands down she has been the best I’ve come across when trying to buy a house , always in contact and sending me emails about any updates and always very helpful, easy to deal with and has a really friendly approach . Other estate agents within derby have failed to give that caring touch and I feel Emily genuinely cares and wants to help you find that perfect house whereas other estate agents I have found to only really care about the people selling. So thank you Emily, very much appreciated. I would also like to mention Samantha has also been great on a few occasions with viewings too :)

Thanks so much for all of Haart derby. Especially, Emma and Rami. We have unforgettable memories at the place where is beautiful and peaceful. From contract to termination of property, our family, who had no experience to live in UK, have gotten feeling that we were under caring from specialists of property. Emma, I remember 1st day of our Moving-in that there were still a lot of troubles including overseas bank account issues. But your teams showed deep patient and sincere supports even beyond working hours. I am sorry that I could not express my thanks enough. Rami, our property manager. You are the best man who handles all issues of the property while we were living. To be honest, I had a concerns that mis-handling and unfair things could happen to forigners, which were revealed from media sometimes. Nevertheless, I have felt that I rent a house from my close cousin or a friend. If I could give Rating more than 5, I would like to do it. All, I miss our life in the cozy place with friendly specialists of property. If someone asks me which property agency is the best in UK? My answer is definitely going to say Haart Derby! Kelly came to value my property & was really enthusiastic about the potential of a quick sale, given its location and size. Haarts weren't the chespest agent, however having done my homework, I decided to go with Haarts. Kelly returned to take photos of the property (which were amazing). All in all, my property went on the market and the sale completed and exchanged within 9 weeks. I'd understood selling a home was stressful. This was not at all the case for me. With updates from the branch manager Sam, I knew I was in safe and capable hands at every step of the process. Money well spent in my eyes. Thank you Team Haart of Derby. What a refreshing experience!!! Having lost out on two properties due to the mishandling of information by what can only be described as unprofessional on line estate agents, we contacted Haart intending to view a property. Laura answered the call and although the property we wanted to view was recently taken off the market, Laura directed our attention to another property that she felt we might like. Two days later we had an offer accepted and thanks to all the hard work from Laura we have had a smooth and speedy transition. We exchanged contracts yesterday and will complete this time next week. Excellent all round. Haart have been by far the best estate agent we have dealt with so far, they kept me up to date every step of the way and we had no hassle with them what so ever. For a first time buyer I would highly recommend looking at properties through Haart, I can guarantee they will help you every step of the way. I personally dealt with Emily at the Haart Derby branch, not only has she helped keep us up to date with everything along the way but she has also taken our needs, budget and taste in to consideration and has sent some properties our way we had not even seen.
