I have very recently just moved into my first apartment with the help of AKS. Ann was incredible and made me feel so comfortable about the whole process considering I had no clue what I was doing! She was so lovely and friendly and has reassured me that even though I am in the property now I can email her in regards to any worries or concerns I have. I would definitely recommend to anyone. Ann was so helpful and replied to my many questions and emails super fast and warmly. On the day we were to get the key, we were shown all there needed to be known about the apartment and how it’s run and it is really great. Ann was super patient and kind. Many aspects of moving house can be stressful, but AKS were a joy to work with and from start to finish. Their service was impeccable. When choosing an estate agent, we prioritised finding the most professional and trustworthy firm in order to move efficiently. Andy and his team were knowledgeable, friendly, reliable and consistently on their game. Initially, we got quotes from 6 local agents, which varied staggeringly from £250-320k. AKS could clearly explain their rationale and our conversations with them gave us confidence they were credible, rather than valuing aggressively to win the business. We were very happy with the materials created and the way the property was marketed and we achieved a sale within 4 days, with multiple offers. For anyone in doubt, we literally couldn't describe any shortcomings or areas for improvement for AKS and would recommend them to anyone.

AKS were absolutely fantastic through our entire selling process, we really couldn’t have asked for a better estate agent. We were in a bit of a rush to sell our house due to wanting to buy another house - AKS pulled out all the stops to come round and take photos and a video and put it online within a day. They also made us a feature property on Rightmove and actively contacted buyers to advertise that our house was up for sale. We sold our house within a couple of weeks which was absolutely fantastic. Once the offer was made and accepted, AKS continued to provide great service. We had some issues with the progress our solicitor was making and issues lower down in the chain - I genuinely believe that if we weren’t with AKS, completion would have taken 10 times longer. They were continuously chasing things for us and calling us to provide updates - it was much appreciated and alleviated some of the stress! The whole team are amazing - I never usually write reviews but AKS really deserve the praise and I couldn’t recommend them any more.

I never normally leave reviews, however I have had exceptional customer service and support from Ann. Dealing with Ann at AKS was a pleasure. From enquiring about the property, to viewing and through to completion she was brilliant. Ann was always available either via email or the phone. She guided me through the online portal process when I got stuck, she was on hand to patiently talk me through the process. On the day I picked my keys up she was there to support and answer my many questions. Lacked professional and ethics. I couldn’t recommend, neither would I purchase or sell a property through them. Sale agreed direct with vendor at £150k provided ID and Bank Statements which had £145k on the basis that only 25% deposit is required to complete the transaction on BTL or Bridge. My broker had provided AIP for the development finance. Whilst I was on annual leave they accepted another party’s offer £5k higher. They later informed me that they accepted another offer because I didn’t provide a means of purchasing the property. I had appointed Solicitors, architects and submitted a planning application which they were aware of from the beginning. They waited until I returned from annual leave (1 week) to inform me I had not provided sufficient information for the “Proof of Funds” & this was the reason for accepting another offer… Lack of morals

They even helped us look for properties once we had agreed a sale. I've rented a student property for the next year through AKS and dealt entirely with Ann. She is lovely, very responsive to emails (always on the same day or first thing the next day within business hours if I sent an email after 5pm). She was very patient and explained everything in detail when sending over the contracts and answered any queries I've had. Also helped me to sort out payment and recommended where to go when they didn't receive it (fault on my end). When she was showing us the properties, Ann was on time (she even came on her day off, which I really appreciate!), professional and showed us around. She told us about the landlords and any issues spotted with the property were fixed like she promised. She also went above and beyond when trying to help my current flatmate (international) sort out a shorter term contract and help her move in to try and alleviate any stress she had. While this didn't follow through, Ann was understanding and professional about the situation. Overall, I can't fault dealing with AKS. I've had no issues at all. I would highly recommend AKS. They just stood out above all the other agents I spoke to. Andrew is so passionate and knowledgeable about what he does and is extremely personable. I cannot fault a single thing about the high level of customer service given by AKS residential from the start of my purchase, up until the date of completion. I have liased with the lovely Sales Progressor Victoria throughout the entire process. Victoria has gone above and beyond by regularly checking in with my partner and I regarding the progress of our purchase, as well as taking the time to explain the next stages of my house purchase to me as I am a first time buyer.
