We have investigated the circumstances surrounding your review. Whilst we have no record of dealing with you specifically as a customer, given how quickly it appeared following another damaging review, we believe it relates to a property Jackson Grundy Lettings were advertising on behalf of a landlord on a 'Let Only' basis. As is the case with most properties in the current market, there was significant interest and multiple interested applicants. Unfortunately this means that only one application will be successful and all other parties will be disappointed. We would much rather this not be the case, however we are not able to control supply and demand of property to the market. We sympathise that on this occasion you are disappointed, but we feel that leaving the company a 1 star review due to circumstances outside of its staff's control is unfair and unwarranted. We kindly ask you in the first instance to remove this unwarranted review due to its damaging content. Should you be unprepared to remove the review then we will be forced to take legal advice from our solicitors in relation to Defamation of our company and our staff. We reserve the right to not revert back to you again on the matter ahead of taking further action. For your reference we would like to draw your attention to the recent High Court case of 'Summerfield Browne v Waymouth'.

Having thoroughly investigated this review (and comments on social media), we feel it is wholly unfair and inaccurate for the following reasons:
1) Jackson Grundy Residential Lettings do NOT manage your flat.
2) Tenants of ours (presumably the ones you mention in your review - who have not complained) advised us of a leak in their flat on 24th March. We attempted to contact your Landlord (as the Landlord of the flat above the leak) the very moment we were made aware of the issue (in fact whilst our tenant was in the office having just informed us of the leak), unfortunately we had to leave a message.
3) Having not yet heard back from your Landlord, on Saturday 25th March we attempted to contact him again, and also a plumber. We again updated our tenants - this was the day you felt justified in leaving the above review. Your review makes it sound like we had been aware of the issue for weeks, or months even, without acting.
3) A member of our staff then attended the site on Monday 27th March to visit our tenants and make contact with other tenants within the block.
4) The Block Management Company were advised and the origin of the leak was discovered in an altogether different flat which we also do NOT manage.
5) The leak was subsequently fixed with our tenants being updated every step along the way.
6) We have even had an owner of one of the other flats contact us to thank us for our input in resolving the issue.
We are extremely disappointed you would leave such a review when we do not even manage your property. We also feel it is unjustified for you to have publicly criticised us on social media. We politely request you cease from unfairly criticising us or we will be forced to take further advice in relation to what potential damage has been done to our reputation and consequential recourse.
