Dear Mr Bogdan no one within our Datchet team has ever had any dealings with you and so we are unable to validate this comment. Your account appears to be located in Romania so I am unsure as to why you have left this review on our page. We have received a spout of disingenuous reviews over the past couple of weeks from individuals located overseas who we have never encountered. This matter has been raised with Google and is being investigated.

Dear Ruth. Firstly we are sorry to hear that you were not impressed with the overall service. However looking into this sale in further detail I can see that your property in Old Windsor was marketed from July 2019-November 2019 and in that time Oakwood Estates conducted 12 viewings, generated 3 offers, of which 2 of these were accepted. On 25/11/2019 you informed us you would like to terminate the sale despite the fact we have a proceedable buyer who was in the process of his mortgage application. I am unsure on this occasion of what more we could have done as it was by no fault of our own that the sale was terminated. Effectively we delivered on what we had promised from the start - a proceedable buyer willing to pay an acceptable price for the property. We wish you the best of luck with you future endeavours. AVOID THIS ESTATE AGENCY AT ALL COSTS. I have a long story about this estate agency. Firstly, they have requested a right to rent code for me even if I didn’t apply for a property. Second, they mentioned that they need this code for their own purposes and appears to be a legal occupier, as they mentioned for a property that I never saw it and never engaged a tenancy. They completely forgot to ask me if I want to be a legal occupier of that property. Now let’s discuss about the property. Unfit for living. The only bathroom not functional. On the premises it is a shed broken where a fox has her nest. They painted fuses and switches. They have received over £4,800 from February until now. As a legal occupier I contacted the agency and miss Kate is Late with her duties, furthermore, she complained against me for showing her what supposed to be done in time. Not only that she is a pretty little liar with her remarks of threats or abusive language. I can easily upload all the phone conversations to show clearly how this estate agency works. About the jobs on the property: she was sending someone who deliberately destroyed 2 windows handle locks. In conclusion the person who is a legal tenant is my husband and I was treated with disrespect by this lady. I will attach here pictures and videos with the issues of this property and advise everyone to stay away from this estate agency. This is how the provided the house after they cashed a good amount of money. They are a waste of time, nervous and the only need is to cash you full rent and providing you a shitty property.

Dear Megan, we find your comments and 1 star review unfair considering you vacated the rental property earlier than the notice period and you didn’t pay the last 2 months rent, the check-out also showed the property required extensive cleaning and repair works. We had to claim your deposit via a statutory declaration as you did not respond to the DPS within 14 days. The landlord wanted to take you to Court for the outstanding funds however you asked for a payment plan to be set up to avoid Court action which the landlord kindly agreed to however you have not committed to the payment plan and the funds are still owing. The Oakwood Estates team work hard to ensure that all parties adhere to the legal obligations agreed to and on this occasion you failed to do so. Regards, Elle Godfrey
