GoogleHi, Olivia and the team were fantastic, had 5 viewings over the bank holiday weekend and could have had at least another 5. Property was re-let within a month of the old tenants moving out. Olivia sorted all the paperwork out very efficiently and quickly. Well done all, will be using you again.

Nikki from the Middlesbrough branch on Marton road is an absolute credit to the company! She is professional friendly and goes above and beyond. She made the process of renting a property personal and seamless from the start to the very end. Everyone I’ve spoken to at the Ingleby Branch has been amazing. Victoria and Andrea especially have been lovely & helped throughout the whole process. It was a long 7 months so the help was very appreciated during the ongoing stress. They happily reached out to contacts for me when I struggled to get responses so kept things moving. Overall great experience :)

Ou experience with this estate agent was exceptional and significantly superior to others. Craig came to our first meeting very well prepared, He had researched the area and the selling details of current and recent similar properties. He suggested a significantly higher selling price that two other local agents. We had almost twenty viewings in the next week. All managed by S&Fs, we accepted an offer that was more than ten percent higher than the other agents suggested. They were efficient, helpful and professional throughout. I highly recommend

I would not sell my house with these people badgered while I was buying advised by one not to have a survey to realise when I bought the house ive water leaks everywhere and drains not covered for sewage ..no pipes going into drain from boiler ive had a plumber out who also noticed all this aswell.unhelpful unless they are pushing a sale don't care about the buyers so if I sell it won't be through these .I would like to add some of the girls are lovely and was helpful and did do a lot while I was buying but the attitude of some of the others that's caused this review
***update 12:26pm 2/8/24***Email sent to Karen with copies of notes offering a survey referral to Trew Surveying.I have advised I will review the call log on my return from annual leave and contact Karen with my findings. From the moment our house was put on the market to the day of completion we were so pleased that we asked Smith and Friends to sell our house. Everything about the selling process was expertly and professionally explained to us in person. The advertising of the property was superb with extras such as drone footage. Throughought the sale we were kept up to date of proceedings by the diligent, courteous and friendly staff. Altogether a positive experience and recommend Smith and Friends for your next property sale/purchase.

GooglePut my property up for sale and arranged for numerous estate agents to visit me and give a valuation. When the manager from Smith and friends Louis visited I immediately felt he was very genuine. After speaking to him I cancelled all other valuations and following his advice I had a buyer within a week. So far so good, outstanding work from Louis and all the staff at Smith and friends who have been extremely helpful and supportive and taken a lot of the stress and anxiety off my shoulders. GoogleBlocked my driveway , politely asked to move but ignored me to go inside a clients house for hours , couldn't get my car on the drive and there is no where else to park.
***UPDATE*** From your photo I have identified the driver and spoken to him. He said he spoke a person at a neighbouring property as Mark explained he would be there for no more than 10 minutes to scan the outside of the property with the virtual tour camera. He never entered the property so your review is factually incorrect. We also have a tracker record on the vehicle and will be able to show you the time it was parked there. I met with Graham from the Ingleby Barwick office with a view to renting a property. As soon as I arrived, Graham was friendly, helpful and made me feel very comfortable. He was very knowledgable and even turned the heating on before I arrived! What a Gent! The staff have also been very helpful on the telephone… fingers crossed my application is successful!

The manager of Darlington branch was very helpful , he made an excellent video of our home which I am sure sold our house to a person out of the area.The sales progression manager was excellent, keeping us informed at every point. She was very approachable answering our questions as and when needed which made the sale and purchase run more smoothly.I wouldn’t hesitate to use Smith and Friends Darlington Branch again and would happily recommend them to others.

There was a good number of prospective buyers. Staff arranging viewings were efficient but also had time to chat. Staff liaison with my legal firm was good. I should have been notified that the EPC was out of date and that it was not their responsibility to do this.

Fantastic experience with Mark & Ellie in the letttings team at Ingleby Barwick, they always go above and beyond and nothing is too much trouble. The whole process of finding tenants and moving them in was seamless. Their fees are transparent and include detailed inventories and check out reports which other letting agents normally charge for separately. By far the best letting agent in the local area - keep up the great work!

I was a buyer in this process.Not enough staff to allow us to view the house when we wanted. Viewing staff pleasant.Sales staff very helpful with negotiation with vendor. Sales progression could have communicated more frequently and did not seem to know very much about vendor details or timings. I had the impression she was totally overworked.When we picked up the keys the staff member I spoke with was unhelpful and dismissive. Disappointing experience.
