Hartlepool office. Thank you for holding the keys for us.As a letting agent, good for tenants, our experience, regardless of how the property is left, dirty, damaged and unfit to live in, tenant will always get their bond back. Landlords take note, you will have no recourse to get any bond back for anything. The contract between tenant and landlord, is not worth the paper it's written on.
***UPDATE*** 10.30am 12 April 2024I have spoken to my team at Hartlepool and have a better understanding of this situation. I feel that the review is unjust as the advice you have received is not only from ourselves but also from the TDS. We carried out the procedures set down by legislation and betterment cannot happen from a tenants deposit. When purchasing a property I would always suggest you view the property or at least have a representative view the property on your behalf before purchase. GoogleI wanted to rent a house in Darlington. They delayed it 5 weeks until, finally, they seny the video. In the video the house was fine. I applied for it and no answer. I called them and they said it's gone.During the 5 weeks of waiting they said tomorrow or next week or Friday the video for the house will be ready and sent out to all the people interested. At what point I wanted to rent the house only based on pictures and they said no because they would like to sent the video to everyone to be fair for all of us. No fairness as they rented it straight away with no chance for me. 2 weeks later they sent messages if we are still interested because it's available again. Strange isn't it?! I wasn't interested anymore because started to be suspicious. One friend, which applied with me for the same house, book a viewing for it. The house is horrible. Needs to be redcorated as doesn't match with the pictures. Definetely is the worst agency I ever dealt with. Not to tell we had to apply at least 2 times because they were losing our data.. Was a totally nightmare. Don't trust them!NegativeQuality, Professionalism

Right from the moment I first approached Robinson’s regarding property rentals they were very upfront, honest and very much on point about the type of property and type of area I wanted to live in. They then proceeded to find me a lovely home to settle in for the time I was there snd any problem that I advised to them, they immediately took it onboard and arranged for it to be dealt with - wonderful service from start to finish snd I would definitely recommend their services to others (as I have done) and give them 10 out of 10 for service and understanding of clients needs.

Communication not very good. We were left to chase up a lot of things. Each time we called we were not given useful information. No effort to ensure that the seller adheres to the agreed completion time. Poor communication overall. We had to threaten to cancel the agreement unless we were listened to , only then did our sale go through. Customer care training is required to deal with all communities. A lot of bias in the whole office and prejudice. On the day we collected the keys , key staff were cold except for one reception staff that smiled when we went in. Very poor experience and poor service.
