The staff at Smith & Friends Darlington were helpful from start to finish. The sale of my home was particularly stressful and emotional for me and had a few hurdles along the way but Joy was always on hand to reassure and guide me, nothing was too much trouble. This was my first experience of selling a home and found overwhelming and confusing at times however the staff were very patient and dealt with my many ‘wobbles’ professionally but in a personal way. Communication and support was excellent throughout

Charlotte and Leah were fantastic, they kept us up to date with all key aspects of the house sale, they also dealt with issues swiftly. They rang us regularly to see how things were progressing. I had dealt with the Darlington office as a Landlord. The service was excellent from all staff. Everyone was so helpful. However, I have to make special mention of Lee who always went above and beyond in helping to resolve problems with tenants, or by providing additional administrative services for my property. We recently sold our house with Smith and friends. Their service was fantastic all of the staff we dealt with especially Joanne and Rachael always found time to talk to us. It was not an easy sale as our first buyer pulled out at the last minute, the staff then ensured our house was seen and we had another new buyer pretty soon. All of my calls where taken in a professional and friendly manner and no query was too much hassle for them.

***Update 30/6/2026 - 7.45pm Following our conversation yesterday, I appreciate your call Mr Manejero. The emails that were sent were to make sure the point was not missed, by highlighting it in red wasn’t meant to be make it sound stressful or angry but to make sure points were noted as the vendor was keen to make sure the sale was proceeding. I will feed that back to the sales progressor and look forward to a successful relationship going forward. Great service from the initial onboarding to completion. Sale was of our parents house and we were not local so everything was dealt with remotely.Process of viewing notifications was smooth especially as we were not local and Darlington office attended all viewings for us. We sold and bought with the Marton branch of Robinson’s, the service we received was exceptional. Communication was fantastic, We were kept fully informed the whole way, no need for relentless chasing for updates. When our buyer lost their mortgage Robinson’s helped him find another so we didn’t lose the sale or the house we were buying.
