GoogleI used this estate agency’s service 4.5 years ago on Sep 2014. We are still living in the same property and we are quite happy. I wanted a letter for proof of our tenancy for these years because we haven’t signed new contracts and we just continued with the same old agreement. I needed a formal letter and one of our officers working here, Luke Butler, provided me such letter in seconds! I was really impressed with the efficiency of his work and such great customer service!

GoogleVery impressed with Luke and steve at the Hemel Hempstead branch of Brown & Merry . The enthusiasm and optimism showed by Luke when first pitching for my business convinced me this was the letting agent for me. The combination of steve’s experience and knowledge and luke’s youthful energy and willingness make this a most effective team and I have been impressed by their professionalism and support over the 3 weeks since I engaged them . They were able to secure new tenants for me very quickly indeed and so far all has gone completely smoothly .I have no hesitation in recommending them to Landlords looking to let in and around the Hemel area . GoogleThe worst and most unprofessional estate agency firm I have ever had to deal with in my life. Please anyone considering to use them for sale or letting think twice they have the worst customer service i have ever seen, they lack basic communication skills and try to rip you off any opportunity they get PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE AND LOOK AT ANOTHER ESTATE AGENT IN HEMEL IF YOU KNOW WHATS GOOD FOR YOU !

List bait properties that are no longer available and continually fail to return calls over a number of weeks, despite multiple commitments 'to come right back' when followed up. The Dfferent excuses provided each time. Serious question marks re: the ethics of this place, and that's before we get on to their complete lack of basic professionalism. As a buyer I would not consider buying anywhere listed by this lot, even if I really liked the place... plenty of other professional outfits that do manage basic things like returning calls etc out there. Potential buyers and sellers beware. AVOID.

I cannot recommend Brown and Merry's mortgage services enough! Loren Telford who is the Mortgage services manager helped me with my Buy to let Mortgage and is absolutely brilliant, she knows her job inside out, goes above and beyond to deliver. If it wasn't for Loren, I wouldn't of been able to get this buy to let property that I've just purchased. she's amazing and I highly recommend her services to anyone.

MK branch will require you to work with their mortgage advisor in order to view or make offers for their listings. Most agencies will ask you if you want that and probably will give advantages for those who do so, but specifically asking you to do that over the phone and lie to say the vendor wants that specifically, that's just utterly disgusting.

It's been a process which has been made easier by having a agent who seems like he wants you to have the house as much as you do. I would definitely recommend him and Brown and Merry for their speed of service and support through your buying or letting process.

Couldn't get anything right no matter how patient we were and they couldn't care less. Wasted three weeks for nothing and the manager couldn't even be bothered to reply to my emails or make amends in person when i went to get my key back. Don't remember the last time i've left a review like this. Clearly so much work on they dont have to care about their clients.Hemel Hempstead Branch

Very disappointed with this Agency , once we put the house on the market we basically never heard from them . Only one call after a week and that’s it . Don’t expect any form of communication from them , we lost 3 months waiting for nothing to happen .

MK branch has constantly facilitated a service which borderline harassed me on my way out, poor communication, a complete inability to take any information down, and refused to give me correct information such as the inventory from when I moved in.Zero control over their awful landlords either!
