Selling our English property and buying a property in Scotland, we used 2 Thornton solicitors for the sale and purchase, one of which was expert in English and Scottish law. I was impressed with their speed and efficiency - not once did we have to chase either of them! They led us through the process, explaining what we needed to consider. I have bought and sold properties in Dundee for around 20 years and have had good and bad experiences. I chose Thorntons as I felt they were the largest firm in tayside who could market my properties and get a quick sale. As my transaction as complicated - there were 3 properties to sell in total - I felt the estate agency side marketed my properties well and the schedules were fantastic. The solicitors who dealt with our transactions where very professional and kept us up to date of what was happening threw email, letter and telephone calls. Safe to say I will be using Thorntons in the future for all my property needs.
