I recently purchased a property through Streets Ahead. The upside was that the property was in the perfect location and perfect size. I found Streets Ahead overall like any other Estate Agent. Harley was good at his work of showing us the property around. However, I would have expected the company to notify us when the property was broken into by squatters between the offer and exchange stage. I felt that Sapphire King Harris was seller focused, although her assistance at the exchange and completion stage was good due to a very bad solicitor I had. Perhaps it would have been better for estate agents to look at the buyer's perspective. In the end the seller was definitely the winner and Streets Ahead on its commission. But in the end, I got a great property with an okay service which balances the stars I have rated.

Alex Brown was absolutely fantastic - she got a real sense of what we were looking for and arranged to have as many viewings as possible on the same day, to speed up the letting process. Thanks to her, we found the perfect property. Putting a deposit down and getting into the house was quick and easy, and being able to sign the contracts online was excellent for 3 busy working adults. It was a pleasure to deal with Streets Ahead!

Patrick Jones at Streets ahead in Addiscombe was beyond amazing with his amazing customer service and attention to details. What really pleased us was that he always kept every single promise to call us back or email us. Many people forget these simple promises makes amazing service or not. I am glad to say Patrick excelled at this and more. He also approached any challenges we had with a common sense approach. Amazing guy and will highly recommend him!!! Simply the best! The Lettings Team are a special breed over here without a doubt. I was forced out of my home due to leaks and negligent behaviour from another reputable agent. After a torrid time with them we had to urgently find our next long term home for me, my wife and daughter. Alexandra was initially alerted that I was on the hunt for a home, she took ownership of the situation and stuck to me ensuring I find my next long term family home. funnily enough the property I ended up taking was her personal recommendation which was never on my radar but after being convinced in viewing, me and my family loved it! then both Alex and Kunal worked tirelessly to ensure I moved in urgently within my timeframes which we managed to make work with 1 day to go! needless to say me and my families happiness has been restored thanks to the great Streets Ahead Addiscombe Lettings Team. we have not looked back ever since and have great landlords. Writing on behalf of my sister who has recently completed on the sale of her property and she is absolutely over the moon with the service she received from Streets Ahead. In particular, their Sales Progressor Robyne. The transaction was far from straight forward and Robyne handled it compellingly with her tenacity, knowledge and patience, she knew the right things to say at the right time. She spent hours on end on the telephone to Land Registry and the solicitors trying to resolve the delays, she had no issues going that extra mile. We're certain if Robyne had not taken control of the sale when she did they would still be battling through trying to get exchanged. A big thank you to Robyne. Streets Ahead have already been recommended to the neighbours without hesitation.

I cannot thank our agent Robyne Bonar enough. We were in chain with a buyer (and associated solicitors) who was putting our own purchase at risk and Robyne was able to intervene and get everything in place for completion before our purchase fell through. She was proactive, incredibly conscientious and got the job done. She kept us up to date and was a safe pair of hands. Robyne was dealing with various parties and having had to speak all involved my view is that she was the most up to speed and responsible. I’m sure without her involvement our purchase would have fallen through so thank you Robyne - you’re an absolute star.

I have just moved into a lovely flat and was helped throughout by George and Emma. I first spoke with George; I was able ask him anything regarding the property, the process and worries I had and he would answer with the most pleasant manner. With George you feel that he is there to help you, not a sales man! that was really nice. Emma was equally friendly and responded to my emails very quickly. There was a hiccup with the papers but she rectified this promptly. Both are very professional and you feel you can speak to "real" people! Overall a very nice experience, thank you

We highly commend the Streets ahead team for helping us with our property search. It started a year ago when we first started viewings with Harley who was always very professional and courteous. Harley takes time to explain any processes so that we fully understand what is happening. We have also viewed with Pawal who is also very approachable and professional. Most importantly however, we would like to highly commend Richard Houlden who guided us through many viewings until we found our new home. Throughout the whole process, Richard remained extremely professional, prompt, helpful and willing to answer and investigate any queries that we had. He listened to us and understood exactly what we were looking for and recommended many properties to view which fit our criteria. He really went the extra mile with us and helped us through our first experience of being gazumped. He was sensitive to how we felt about this and patiently encouraged us to press ahead. Richard has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and always arranged any viewings and follow up calls promptly. He has helped to make our long property search much easier and fruitful! Very late review, as forgot to post! First time buyers Our house purchase process took 10 months to close, this was due to the seller being an absolute nightmare. Marina was fantastic from the get go, from the initial viewings to finally getting the keys, communication lines always opened and responded straight away, she kept her cool even when i was was losing my mind due to the seller going MIA, highly recommend her and the team, Jason was also great in the process, highly recommend!!!

I left a review: By far the worst estate agents I've ever dealt with. The degree of unprofessionalism they display is horrific and I regret ever renting with them. My partner and I have been renting from the 1st of December and have had nothing but trouble from them. It's remarkable how, before I signed the lease, I was pestered with calls and repeated emails urging me to rent a property with Streets Ahead. As soon as we signed and handed over our deposit, we heard nothing more from them. We were constantly passed from person to person when we tried to enquire further with regards to our moving in. When we eventually received the keys to the property we discovered that the house was in an utterly disgusting state. It was evident that NOTHING had been cleaned. The toilet seat was completely broken, ELEVEN lightbulbs needed to be replaced. There were clumps of hair on the floor, congealed food glued to the fridge and unwanted junk (including a pair of dirty socks, thanks) that the previous tenants left. We immediately wrote a detailed letter outlining everything that was broken/required repair and requested that the house be cleaned to habitable standards as we were due to move in that weekend. We heard... nothing. The next day we tried to call the office three times. Each time we were told that our property manager - Kelly Alleyne - was on another call, but would return our call as soon as she was free. And we heard... nothing! We then went to the office the following day (in the middle of trying to move) to speak to the manager, Kunal Patel. He certainly made all the appropriate noises, claimed Kelly was off sick the day before (?!?!?!?!?) but she would respond to us the next week. No apology was made for the state of the property, no remuneration offered. I did indeed receive a message from Kelly as promised (I have come to learn, this is a miracle) assuring me she would call later. SPOILER ALERT. She did not call. I could go on, but I'm sure you get the picture. We have been emailing and calling for TWO MONTHS trying to sort out the most basic of amenities. It took six weeks to receive an inventory checklist which was promised to us the day we moved in. We eventually received compensation for the mess we found the property in, but all the repair work they promised would take place as not occurred. We currently have no lights in the bathroom or lounge and barely any light in the kitchen because we are waiting for repair work to be taken out by Streets Ahead. However, as Kelly as ignored the last six emails we have sent, I doubt this will happen. AVOID STREETS AHEAD AT ALL COSTS ** Helpful Hint ** If you are a current tenant renting through Streets Ahead, and have trouble with them, contact the landlord directly and make them aware of the situation. They're an appalling company who don't deserve any business.

Callum is our property manager from the Addiscombe branch, since we moved to the house last year he has been very helpful if there’s any problem with the house ( a lot of problems) He’s been liaising between us and the landlord very well (given the landlord’s location). He’s also arranged a temporary property manager while he’s on leave. All I can say is how professional and I won’t hesitate him to manage your property.

Right through the process from viewing to picking up the keys, the team at Streets ahead were extremely helpful. Saphire in particular went above and beyond to ensure the Solicitors were doing what they needed to, and was a real asset to ensuring the exchange and completion happened - we were naive first time buyers, so to have her experience onside was a blessing, and we would have struggled to cope without her. I have no hesitation in recommending Streets Ahead Estate agents as a company to deal with in selling or buying a new home.

From the moment that myself and my partner dealt with Billie to secure a flat she has been nothing short from helpful! She made sure that everything was taken care of and was very upfront and honest when answering any queries that I had.
