Selling my house through Streets Ahead My experience of selling my house through Streets Ahead has been 100% positive. They managed to get me a very acceptable offer within a week of taking on my property and I have now exchanged contract five weeks later. Sam who visited me and persuaded me to give them a try, has fulfilled all his promises and then some. Thank you to the whole team who have made this process efficient and painless. I cannot speak highly enough of Streets Ahead. They know their business and they care.

Cameron Alexander from StreetsAhead has been 3/4 weeks promising a house. He gave me a contract, took full deposit and 1st rent. They helped me to move the utilities accounts to my name and everything. I bought furniture to an entire house.At the moment to enter the house, they realised that the landlord was not aware of any of this.They let me on the street, with a house of furniture, without a place to sleep and said "it is not my problem".I am looking for legal advise on this.

After dealing with many Croydon based estate agencies whilst looking for a property, most of which are not proactive at all, it was a pleasure dealing with Catherine Wood at Streets Ahead. She is personable, pro-active and actively goes out of her way to find me suitable suggestions to view and always follows up. Her honesty & realism is also very valued which is hard to come by when you are dealing with agents who obviously get commission to sell. A pleasure to deal with.

GoogleHave to say we’re rather disappointed. The tenant they put up have caused “ issues” within 3 months of living there to the point where as landlords we have already given notice. We are constantly chasing up our property manager to get things done, there is little initiative and we have already received a refund of their fee last month for accepted “ poor service “ Rather fed up with having to constantly ask for updates and push for action.NegativeResponsiveness

GoogleI would not recommend Streets Ahead to anyone. We paid a holding deposit for a house in Croydon through Rayaan and he gave the house to someone else and kept lying to us that the owner is out of town and the that the tenants have not found a place yet. This went on for about a month. We kept calling the office but they always say he's not there and he will call us back but he never did. So a couple of days before the move in date we went over to the new house to see if the tenants are still occupying the house only to find the house empty. We then went to Streets Ahead to confront Rayaan and he started lying to us until we told him he should not bother because we have visited the house and found it vacant. Was he trying to scam us?? They eventually paid us back the holding deposit but we were very disappointed to lose the house.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleWe've had the misfortune of living next to a house rented out by the Addiscombe branch. When we reported problems with the anti social tenants, we got vague and unhelpful replies. The company seemed unable and unwilling to help, and the employee we were dealing with barely replied. It got to the point where the neighbours on both sides of the house escalated the complaints to all the senior managers, but they were as unhelpful as the people they managed, and not one of them replied. I bet someone from the company posts a reply to this review, to make it look like they are proactive! The situation was only resolved when the tenants moved out to another property, whilst us poor unfortunate neighbours had endured 6 months of misery, and sleepless nights. The "agents" sent out to show the house to new renters were unprofessional. We could hear from their conversations that they knew nothing of the area, and were given out incorrect advice on rents and deposits. They were more interested in sitting in the car smoking ciggies, and expertly flicking out the dog ends, than dealing with viewers. Their website says that their motto is "Nothing is too much trouble." Our experience was the opposite, and we would never recommend anyone uses this company to rent out their property.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

If possible I would give zero, this agency has no morals its an absolute disgust what they do to people. I gave a security deposit and passed reference due to some complications the landlord took longer to move out and we ended up strung along for 5 MONTHS only for them to say sorry the landlord no longer wants to rent the property to you as he is renting it to family 2 weeks prior to the agreed moving date BUT my friends called to enquiry about the same property as we thought it was odd and they very happily shared they were having an open evening 2 days later. I ended up in temporary accommodation with two children because of this situation and all the manager jumped so quickly to say was we didnt sign an agreement, we wasnt given one because we had no moving in date for 5 months but I gave a holding deposit which secures a property and all we had is a lot of BS guarantees, after all this no one picks up the phone to talk to me nor have I had any response to my email regarding making a formal complaint. Avoid this company I am not the only one having issues with Streets ahead, they really are the worst, 0 communication you have to constantly chase them, they dont care about you all they care about is their commission. Customer service is none existent!
