I am very pleased with Stirling Ackroyd estate agents as they found a new tenant for me as soon as the previous tenant gave a notice to end the contract . The whole process was smooth and with out any hassles .I was especially impressed with Miss Victoria Aderibigbe who was so sincere ,polite and always ready to help to her utmost . TrustpilotWon’t be renting through them again
One of the worst estate agents we have rented through. We were first managed by Red Bear Property Management who were then taken over by Stirling Ackroyd. When we first viewed the property at Madison Heights, South Wimbledon the agent told us the scaffolding would be down by the end of February 2022. We took the tenancy on in presumption of this. This was not the case and the builders were actually building another floor on the existing building. The agent did not say a single word about this when we first viewed the property. For our whole tenancy (12 months) we were living on a building site. For about 2.5 months of this, there was blue film all on our windows and we had leaks in our balcony. We moved into the property without it being professionally cleaned and it was left in a disgusting state by previous tenant. Don’t know how we were allowed to move in. Took almost 2 weeks to get our deposit back from the agent who then deducted £58 to change an oven lightbulb. Slow communication from agents. Definitely won’t be renting through them again.

As a first time buyer who didn’t know anything about the process, I had a perception that it would be extremely long and stressful. My experience was the total opposite. Joanna (Jo) and Victor from the outset were absolutely amazing! I remember viewing the property with Jo and the discussions we had about how much potential the property has in comparison to what it is now. The level of education I received around the entire buying a property process was very helpful, and allowed me to stay abreast of what I had to do and what to expect. We built a professional rapport, their communication skills were excellent from the outset, the time in which it took for Jo and Victor to respond to my queries was quick. I would definitely recommend them, and will be using their service again in the near future!

I have had a lot of bad experiences with estate agents in the past (generally with them talking down to me & making up BS just to get you to work with them) I have had a pretty traumatic couple of years with an abusive husband & Dan really put me at ease & spoke to me like I was actually human. He was very down to earth & gave me honest advice & help on my situation. He was not pushy in any way & I felt like he actually wanted to help (rather that just get a quick commission).

TrustpilotLong term tenant - Service so poor it led to me leaving the country
I rented the same property through Stirling Ackroyd for 9 years. The first 7 - 8 years were fine, the odd minor issue but all dealt with. In the last 9 - 12 months the customer/ tenant services was appalling. Stirling Ackroyd left a message on the wrong number (mine) and that’s how I found out the property I had been renting for around 8 years was being sold. No apology for the way I found out4 months later I got a call saying the property was sold as of that week and that the landlord was happy to keep the rate as it was for another year. Was rushed to sign the contract, which I did, just for it to then be voided and changed to a 6 month contract as the new landlord wanted to increase the rate. Understandable from their side, terrible communication from Stirling AckroydRequested a 1 month extension which was approved but only if I agreed to paying more for the last 3 months of the existing contract too. This was communicated on the 2nd of Aug and was meant to kick in on the 1st of Aug. As per Strling Ackroyds tenancy agreements, rent should be in before the 1st so this was not a reasonable askJust over a week after signing the extension, I got another call saying the landlord had agreed to the extension at a higher rate for the last month only, which would’ve saved me 550 pounds. Which contradicts the previous messaging/ the contract. I got an apology from the head of renewals but nothing from the estate agent themselves (they offered a signed letter which is pretty useless) and nothing from the points of contact that made the actual mistakes. I am not sure who actually ended up with the “extra” money I paid but I wouldn’t be surprised it is was Stirling Ackroyd due to the number of “admin errors” made. They did offer to help me look for a new place to rent/ buy but as you can probably guess, I am never working with these guys again.

Wow, this is how Estate Agents were meant to be. They exceeded expectations in speed, efficiency and helpfulness. I had historically used a rival Big Name agent who over promised and under delivered. These guys blew them off the park. I suspect they will be extremely successful and frankly, good luck to them.

My experience with Stirling Ackroyd Sunbury branch goes back 12 years when I purchased my first house through the Sunbury branch.I consequently moved area with work 9 months later and rented out the house through the Sunbury branch.In October 2022 i sold the house, again through Sunbury branch.During all these years I have experienced consistent professional and very efficient service.On both the rental and sales sides the staff have always gone beyond whats called for on many occasions. They always regularly update me on the progess of any situation. They have been so helpful and friendly and deal with all queries in calm manner no matter how busy they are. I have always been treated like a valued customer. I would highly recommend Stirling Ackroyd in Sunbury.

Extremely awful communication with that company. Tried to sign the contract as a new tenant, we agreed to do that and Sebastien Lewis told me that he will send me email the same day. He did not. I tried to send emails, I called and he kept saying that he will send the email same day. He never did. 2 MONTHS LATER I received an email from them to send them filled form ASAP. Ridiculous.

While not having met Mr Casini Bikram face to face, I have been dealing with him over the phone for several months. I can say that he has been helpful, has a positive outlook and has a good manner. Overall my experience with Sterling Ackroyd has been a good one. They rented my flat within a day at the full asking price. And fingers crossed the tenants seem to be good, compared to the previous ones through another agency. Well done!

We decided to use Stirling Ackroyd as our lettings agents due to the great service we've received from our main contacts Georgia Buckle and Sam Humphreys. They both have that invaluable human touch and approach. Professional, yet friendly. Georgia has kept in touch for well over a year, but never driven a "hard sale", only been there for a quiet nudge and been able to give great advice. When we finally decided to put our flat on the marked, the process couldn't have been quicker or smoother.
